Wow, 8 pages before Mindless Automaton got mentioned huh? Shaking my head.
Anyways, Anger needs to be in most lists. It's a little fragile what with all the GY hate running around these days but it's so easy to set up it gets kinda ridiculous.

I'm a bit late to this thread, but I'm surprised at not even an honorable mention for Aura Thief? With all the difficulty these colors have with enchantments, why not just sac a dude and steal them all for yourself... He also wins for having the most ironic name, considering his reminder text states that the ONE type of enchantment he can't actually steal is an aura.
I love this commander. I think she works best with clones and stealing. Not only can you take advantage of your opponent's decks, there is great combos with clones/persist/undying creatures. This is my deck list at the moment http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/marchesa-the-black-rose-shapeshifter-edh/
I just built a Marchesa deck last night and after going through this entire thread, it seems I have a few cards in here that I don't think were mentioned.
Just a quick question for anyone who knows the timing of the delayed trigger. This happened a few nights ago: A friend of mine used Sneak Attack to quick play in a Scourge of the Throne, a Clever Impersonator, and Sakashima - they were all Scourges. He killed me with the second attack trick (I was mana screwed, but that's beyond the point). Naturally they they sac'd at end of turn and came back at the end of another opponent's turn, he did the same trick.
The inquiry is, timing-wise, would all delayed triggers resolve at the same time? or is that Stack-able? If not then he could not have copied a creature that was not in play as a legal target. I don't know how the ability triggers with multiple creatures.
What exactly does this do? You swing in, get your counter, sac it, it comes back on your opponents turn, then goes away at the end of that turn so you can't use it again anyway?
Yeah, I just realized that this morning when I was adding the cards I ordered to finish it. That and I went way more control with it. I did really well with it tonight without even any testing.

If I'm not mistaken, all the delayed triggers trigger at the same time and the controller of Sneak Attack chooses how to stack them so he could chose to put the Scourge on the battlefield first then the clones
My only comparison is the Living Death scenario, in which you have clones in the graveyard, that because they enter at the same time, and because of the sacrifice effect of Living Death, there are no targets for clones to etb as. This has come up and been realized. However I think you may be right because the simple fact that there are multiple events of the same effect on different cards, the owner may be able to stack. Living death is all in one the sac field then reanimate without room to interrupt. Thanks for the reply.
Basically, there are a bunch of mechanics that work well with Marchesa. Persist, undying, etb/ltb effects, sacrifice, +1/+1 counters, haste, pain lands/talismans, exploit, clones, stealing. She works really well for aggro and can play fairly controlling too. You might be able to build a decent stax deck too with the recurring sac fodder, although I've never seen anyone try it.
why does that first deck show 4 of her in the list?
I believe the numbers by the cards are indicating their CMC. It's a common thing to do here on the commander forums, as it kinda goes without saying that there's only one of everything barring basic lands, and it gives a bit more information about the deck's mana curve at a glance.

Thanks that's what I thought. Just making sure this isn't some kinda other game I never heard of.

Also holy crap. I bought my foil of her when the set came out for 30ish bucks, now it is selling for 80+

Also, Wormfang Mantra + Torpor Orb is kinda mean. Like really, really mean.
If you want to see the list I've been doing really well with, you can find it Here.
I regularly stomp tables with it, and I explain a lot of my choices as well.
Draft it Here!

Does anyone have a more current deck list for her.
Thanks
Assuming you're playing multiplayer, then I believe this would be the place to look for some more up to date discussion of Marchesa.
BChainer, Dementia Master(Big Mana/Reanimator)
BRRakdos, The Showstopper (Mass Life Loss/Ramp)
BUThe Scarab God (Zombie Tribal/Control)
BWKarlov of the Ghost Council (Life Gain)
BGJarad, Golgari Lich Lord (Stompy/Dredge)

what is the difference of duel commander vs Multi Player

Duel Commander (aka French) has slightly different rules and a different banlist designed for 1v1.
