MTG Salvation

I've been building a mono green EDH deck with Nylea, God of the Hunt, and I'm looking for some sweepers for the deck to keep my opponent's boards in check. However, their dosen't seem to be much of this in green. I would prefere one-sided sweepers, even if they have ridiculous costs, but I'll settle for all around destruction. Do you guys know anything I could run in this deck?

There aren't many board wipes in green and certainly no one sided effects unless you want to use Hurricane. All is Dust, Oblivion Stone, and Nevinyrral's Disk are the best ones that I can think of.

If you have the mana for it, Polukranos, World Eater can act as a creature sweeper, though he typically acts as spot removal. We can handle fliers pretty well, but All Is Dust and the artifacts mentioned earlier are your best bets for guaranteed board wipes.

I assume you are looking for creature sweepers, as green has several ways to take out multiple artifacts and/or enchantments.

There is Squall Line, Arashi, Sky Asunder and Silklash Spider to add to the Hurricane variants. Corrosive Gale, Whirlwind, Gale Force, and Needle Storm are less good, but worth mentioning.

If mana cost is no object, Tornado and Cyclone are an option. You also have things like Drop of Honey if you are willing to shell out the cash or proxy it. They are all slower, but still very effective at controlling creatures when given enough time and mana. I suppose even Splintering Wind could be playable if you are desperate...

I prefer more subtle options when dealing with creature control in green. Polukranos, World Eater is great as a sweeper. Master of the Wild Hunt, Ulvenwald Tracker, and Arena provide nice options for your bigger creatures or creatures with Deathtouch to take out any creature turn after turn.

Tranquil Grove

Lure effects on large creatures can work. Revenge of the Hunted is pretty reliable since it gives a good boost and forces all creatures to block. You might also like Enlarge and Nemesis Mask.

Kamahl, Fist of Krosa: when an opponent casts a wrath effect animate their lands.

I'm sure you know this, but Cloudthresher is a must have.

Nightshade Peddler combos well with it (as well as with Polukranos, World Eater and Ulvenwald Tracker).

I will second these suggestions, and as someone who uses the above spot removal with polukranos as the focus of my deck I want to say those are excellent spot removal suggestions

So everything like that has been covered in terms of helping with removal; here is another pretty good card to have with some direct damage to a player:

Worldslayer to piss off your friends and enemies alike. Just use it as a threat. "Come after me, I'll swing with this!"

Also, because someone mentioned Tranquil Grove (to get rid of ALL enchantments) I recommend Calming Verse, as it is one-sided Enchantment destruction, provided you tap out. So much fun against Uril decks! My green decks tend to have quite a few enchantments, Mana Reflection, Sylvan Library, Beastmaster Ascension, Wild Pair, so to be able to keep all your goodies and take out your opponents, Calming Verse really fits the bill.

Desert Twister and Radiate - Timber Protector or Nivmagus Elemental in play is good while you cast it. Admittedly not Mono-Green but you didn't exactly specify.

Creeping Corrosion works well for artifact heavy metas. You could also go old school with the Cockatrice, Thicket Basilisk or Tangle Asp + Lure route.

EDIT: There is also Venom that you can put on Prized Unicorn or the new Noble Quarry or alternatively using Nemesis Mask.

I most certainly read through your post and looked right over your Nylea comment, I just paid attention to the Topic name, that's my bad.

If you have infinite mana, you can put an infinitely large Ulvenwald Tracker into play (using Nylea to pump him) if you attach Thornbite Staff to him, you can kill every creature on the board assuming they don't have indestructible, shroud, hexproof or larger creatures

If you go with Silklash Spider or any of the mass flying removal I recommend Evolution Charm as an unexpected spot removal for a non flier.

Entirely theoretical: Squallmonger + Basilisk Collar = green bleeder deck. And you can always use Mycosynth Lattice to turn Creeping Corrosion into Nevinyrral's Disk (which also kills lands). But in general, you're not looking for sweepers in green.

Maybe Polukranos, World Eater. Just be sure to give him Bow of Nylea and Darksteel Plate, maybe Melira, Sylvok Outcast if opp has any wither or infect. Throw on Doubling Season and Primal Vigor to cut costs of going monstrous.

I was building a Nylea, Keen-Eyed deck and I couldn't find a good green sweeper. I looked to my Selesnya colored Wurm/Hydra deck and saw Novablast Wurm. I thought I can make enough mana of any color to use it because it is half white. Hopefully, this is sort of useful.

I'm surprised that nobody has listed the two actual "green sweepers", apex altisaur and Ezuri's Predation. They aren't the best sweepers but they're mono-green.
