Just noticed that I'm starting to have a problem carrying all my EDH stuff when moving around. I have the Ultra Pro gamin case which can hold at most 6 EDH decks with a little bit more room for tokens, dices and a small binder. But I'm really starting to make more and more decks and have trouble squeezing everything into the case, so I would like to know how you carry your decks when you go for example for a whole weekend of Magic to your friend's house?
I know UltraPro sells a backpack but I don't see how it could really handle 10 EDH boxes in a perfect way (I mean I don't like the mess it would probably be in here while I'm sure it can hold a lot).
Do you just pick which decks you will be playing before you go?
My own rules when building a Commander deck:
1) Underrated general that I can build around but the deck must work without him/her too.
2) Every card must be legal in both banlists.
3) No infinite combo that could win (and ruin) instantly a multiplayer game.
4) Synergy at all costs; stay on theme, avoid goodstuff.
I have a duffel bag with my decks in 5 700-card cardboard boxes i carry 14 EDH and 26 60card decks at once in that duffel bag. I am very paranoid about my bag when i take it out in public, most of the time i bring just a small box and a back pack if i'm going somewhere and i'm not playing constructed or i don't know the people i'm playing with.
I actually have a box I got from my Pokemon days, a hard plastic Professor case, it fits 3 Commander decks and a package of spare sleeves. Shame I can't order more of those.

My Commander decks:
Chandra, Torch of Defiance - Oops! All Chandras.
Prime Speaker Zegana - Draw for Power.
Pir & Toothy - Counterpalooza.
Arcades, the Strategist - Another Brick in the Wall.
Zacama, Primal Calamity - Calamity of Double Mana.
Edgar Markov - Vampires Don't Die.
Child of Alara - Dreamcrusher.
Holiday box is the best for me. I currently have 10 EDH decks plus a large stack of tokens and cards i'm considering for those decks in it, and it fits perfectly in my backpack alongside my playmat and dice bag. I am starting to have problems with durability though so it might soon be necessary to cover it in packing tape for added strength.
I have 7 edh decks and a handful of modern and casual decks. I'd never carry them all, mostly because I don't want to walk around with so many thousands of dollars of stuff on me. I pick and choose a few decks before I go.
A friend of mine uses a camera case to carry his stuff that's pretty nifty.
I use 2 fat pack boxes to hold all 5 of my decks and my ever-growing stack of tokens. 3x 99 card single sleeved decks, separated by their commanders in top loaders, will fit into each box. I keep the commanders in top loaders until they get bounced/tucked/etc., because I always forget and shuffle the boss into the deck. I like to have actual tokens for every card I play..I hate the look of erasers fighting packs of rolling papers when a goblin and a goat throw down. I even drew various plants and Pea Shooters from Plants VS Zombies onto blank World Champ cards to represent 0/1 plants made by Khalni Garden and Avenger of Zendikar
I use a craftsman 12 Inch Tool Tote. Can fit up to 16 Ultra-Pro 2 pc clear cases. I carry 11-12 in mine, along with dice, a playmat, and a box of tokens.
Thanks for all the replies. I guess I will stick with my UltraPro box that can hold ~5 EDH deck (100 or 100+10 cards each) with my 2 pauper deck (60+15 cards each) and then some tokens and dices. Just going to swap decks when I feel like I need to.
I don't like having so much money in such a small bag either. I know it is a bit of a different question, but don't you guys worry about Magic dropping in popalurity someday and losing more than half the money you spent for those cards? I'm actually buying cards like Gaea's Cradle and Wasteland, both foil promo arena, and I was wondering about that... if suddently all the cards are just pieces of carton... and people stop playing the game.

You know those Holiday boxes? I use one of those. Fits 9 sleeved EDH decks + 3 dragon shield boxes with enough wiggle room for tokens and whatnot. For the overflow, I use fat pack boxes. I have 11 decks, and am indecisive.

I have to second this. Being able to carry all my decks in one box is so much better then having to carry around 3 fat packs. In addition the holiday box comes with booster packs and deck separators.

I have 10 decks, and I keep them in individual cases. I have a briefcase with a divided section that fits exactly four of these cases. So I always pick which four decks I want to play before I go out to play edh. It has never felt like a problem.
Then I have a standard and a modern deck cramed in there as well.
Then I take it with me everywhere... games just happen.

Not one bit. If you're going in for big money cards and don't extract your investment's worth of value from from them in some way, then you're doing something wrong. I've dropped money on duals and other pricey cards and the only one that bothers me is the Tabernacle at Pendral Vale I picked up a few years back to play in Legacy Landstill (pre-Lorwin) and never did. Everything else I've dropped a significant amount of money on, I've played enough to feel like it was worth my investment. If the bottom drops out of the market and the game goes away, I won't be disappointed that my duals, wastelands, etc are worthless, because I've been playing them and enjoying them. I'd be nice to get that value out at the end but that's not why I play.

Yeah, but my question is more oriented towards foil cards (assuming I don't get that much more fun playing with foils, but I just like foil cards).

I use this fella. It has worked well for me, is waterproof, holds up to 16 EDH decks firmly, can even be run over by a car. It is absolutely terrific and usually, no one else will have anything similar, so someone can't just walk away with it because people will recognize it is unique to you. Not only that, one day, if you stop playing, it can be repurposed to its' original purpose, organizing screws/bolts/nuts, etc.
EDIT: Hyperlink doesn't work for some reason, bugged. Copy and paste this in search on Amazon. Zag/Stanley #014461M ~ FatMax® Professional Organizer

Definitely interesting. Still easy to carry, hard to steal and yeah, it could hold 16 EDH decks, wow.

I carry my decks in fatpack boxes. There's just enough room to fit two decks, a 40-card pack for each with tokens/sideboard cards, and a starter pack with dice/counters in it.
I would prefer a steel suitcase with duel locks, DNA identification, Tazer settings for unauthorized use, and hand cuff to my side... need something sturdy and strong and protective. <3 my EDH decks :P.
In all seriousness I have 3 Satin Ultra Pro deck boxes for my favorite and double sleeved decks. They are really sturdy and very convenient. The rest of my 5 other EDh decks are stored in my holiday box, along with all my tokens, and my modern deck. The RTR holiday is incredibly strong and can take some beating, it lasted me over a year without any hassle until a friend dropped one of the satin ultra pros on top of it and it punctured through the lid. I tried using the Theros one but it seems to be of much poorer quality so I went back to RTR one.
Honestly if anyone knows of any products that are roughly the same size of the Holiday box I would love a more professional grade carrier. I would appreciate and be eternally grateful!!
I just put all my decks into the Ultrapro Satin deck boxes and use a backpack from my wargaming days (Warhammer got too expensive to justify :p) to carry everything from decks to playmat, dice, books, pretty much whatever I need/want for the night.
Now if I was going to a tournament or Star City event, I'd pack probably 1 edh, the format deck of choice, playmat and that's it in a messenger bag. Travel light and minimize losses if it gets stolen, but I've had nothing but good experiences with Magic players.
