If Tatterkite would come into play with counters on it, it comes into play but doesn't have those counters. For example, if an effect grants it persist and then it's destroyed, it returns to play without a -1/-1 counter on it.
So Cauldron of Souls returns it to play without a -1/-1 counter on it, and you can sac it again to Arcbound Ravager. Rinse and repeat, as it has persist throughout the entire turn, you can have persist trigger multiple times in a turn. Though something like Goblin Bombardment is probably a better sac outlet.
give tatterkite persist, sac it to arcbound ravager giving both the ravager and thraxi a +1/+1 counter, tatterkite comes back without a -1/-1 counter and you repeat ad infinitum.
I had Debtor's Knell, Twilight Shepherd, and Phyrexian Tower in play and my opponent attacked me with Keiga. I blocked Keiga, then when he targeted Shepherd with Keiga's ability (she was +1/+1 due to Deathbringer Liege), I sacced her to Tower. He then passed the turn and I animated Keiga with Knell, sacced keiga to tower (stealing a creature) and cast Ashen Powder on Keiga.
give tatterkite persist, sac it to arcbound ravager giving both the ravager and thraxi a +1/+1 counter, tatterkite comes back without a -1/-1 counter and you repeat ad infinitum.

Only if you have a way to untap the Cauldron. When the 'kite returns to play it will no longer have persist, as it is now a new object.

I was playing a 3 person game of EDH, and my friend had beaten the other person and was moving on to me, attempting to kill me with poison counters from a Pit Scorpion or something lame like that. After two turns of Pit Scorpion beatdown, I topdeck a Solitary Confinement with 6 cards in hand. Using some reanimation/surivival of the fittest tricks, I manage to keep my hand full for five or six turns until my friend decides to cast warp world as a means to get rid of the confinement and swing for the win (I was at 12 life).
Warp World gives him Kiki Jiki, Pestermite, Pit Scorpion (sigh), and oodles of other stuff.
Warp World gives me Solitary Confinement, Necropotence, Woodfall Primus, and some land. Using Necropotence I dig for an Angelic Chorus and a Beacon of Immortality to get my life up to around 20. My friend finally gets a Nezumi Graverobber and takes all my creatures out of my graveyard (recurring Yavimaya Elders were getting him pretty frustrated) after I play a Debtor's Knell. I finally draw Vigor and start swinging with a steadily growing Woodfall Primus. After about two hours of my creatures fighting infinite Pestermites, I draw 2 of the remaining 3 cards in my library, one of which is Damnation. Woodfall Primus persists back and I swing for the win
I've also used Magma Sliver with 12-13 others in play to pump a single 1/1 attacker up to a 132/132 double-strike lifelink regenerating shrouded sliver that could only be blocked by other slivers.
I was playing big boring slivers last night in a 4 person EDH and at some point at the end of someone's turn someone played Twilight's Call as an instant bringing back all creatures from graveyard. Now this game had been going on for a while so I had quite a few slivers in my graveyard. 93 triggers later, I've destroy every enchantment artifact that can be seen and drawn about 25 cards (thanks dormant sliver!). http://i25.tinypic.com/orqtdx.jpg
That's not the crazy play though, the crazy play is after the two other people leave it's just me and the guy play Vorosh (Although not before the guy playing Rith wrathed and I sacced all my slivers to go from 20 to 93). He's at 5 and I had 9 cards in my library, I have some crappy slivers in hand and a patriarch's bidding. I play sliver overlord, end of his turn I search for psionic sliver and then next turn play it and then patriarch's bidding and then use psionic sliver's ability to kill him with milling myself on the stack.
It was a pretty crazy game to say the least, slivers can be fun
I then proceeded to Mindmoil out every other player on the table with 16 damage Brainstorms, 45 damage Whirlpool Warriors, and 13 damage counterspells.
The other day I was playing my Kraj deck and got a Doubling Season into play. The next turn I dropped a Saproling Burst. So the Burst came into play with 14 fading counters and whenever I produced a token it produced an additional identical token for a total attack power of 84 on my next turn (12 7/7 saprolings).
I was playing Vendilion Clique, a general which pretty much everyone I know hates. Because Mono blue isn't fun or something. I got kinda roped into a game with a friend that turned into two random people playing two. My young friend was playing Savra, and the Random people Rith and Zo-Zu the Punisher. He asked several times if he could play it(Zo-Zu), as its some pile of LD and junk. Which is also not fun.
By turn 7 I've got a future sight and a Honden of seeing winds. Zo-Zu guy has dingus egg and some land blowy uppy enchantment thing from Urza block. The other two had random creatures and little else. I play a seventh land to hit thought reflection, and pass to have the lands at the table all blown up. Savra player responds by killing all the creatures in play, and he and rith person both pass back. I draw my four, play reliquary tower, then proceed to win with good, old fashioned permission control. I ended up misdirectiong a beacon if unrest onto a seedborn muse so i can treachery it. I ended the game with Glen Elendra Archmage, Teferi, My general, Keiga, Meloku, Trinket Mage, Venser, Seedborn Muse, Bribed plated slagwurm, couple of urza's factory tokens, Vesuvan Shapeshifter, and a Solemn Simulacrum in play. with less than five cards left in my deck and about a 50 card hand.
i'm using sharuum vs my friend's oona deck played by a spike. game two, i use take possession on his general. without thinking, i tapped out for something, then used my last 2 mana to equip oona with sword of fire and ice. sad to say, i lost that round.

In play, I had Firewake Sliver, Shifting Sliver, Watcher Sliver, and two others . . . then cast Tooth and Nail entwined, grabbing Fury Sliver and Virulent Sliver straight into play . . then proceeded to kill two opponents in a 4-player game with poison counters.
I've also used Magma Sliver with 12-13 others in play to pump a single 1/1 attacker up to a 132/132 double-strike lifelink regenerating shrouded sliver that could only be blocked by other slivers.
Vault of Whispers, Mana Crypt, Mana Vault, Sol Ring, Grim Monolith, and Mind Twist after two no-land mulligans.
Yeah... I didn't believe it either.
I am John Galt.
I'm playing Oona, Queen of the Fae.
I played Acquire, grabbed Mindlsaver, used Mindslaver.
His turn, draws an island, plays island, he has a Cephalid Scout, I sac the Academy Ruins and Dust Bowl to draw two cards. He draws Relic of Progenitus and Sensei's Divining Top.
I make him discard all cards except Relic to my Oona's Prowler, and then play and sac off the Relic.
The best I've seen, someone play Wild Ricochet on a Time Stretch, then on his turn, played another time stretch and twincasted it.

Extra turn 2: Recoup Time Stretch
Extra turn 3: Play Plagiarize, play Mindmoil, play Windfall

My friends hate me.
I don't play those two cards anymore. It was funny the first time, after that it saps the fun out of the game.
