I'm confused...you played the Terminus, then still had your general out the next turn to use her ability?
Lightning greaves gives her haste. I'm assuming Lin Sivvi wasn't in play and it was probably late enough to cast stoneforge, boots, lin sivvi and find the task force. or he cast sivvi after the super cheap terminus miracle and forgot to mention it.
EDH is like French fries: some people like waffle cut, crinkle cut, or plain old straight cut, and while there's slight flavor difference and personal preference, at the end of the day they're still fries.
Noone has mentioned Terminus in the last 70 posts. If you're talking about Son of the Suns who was last person to have a play involving it, he had exiled Kaalia using Angel of Serenity. So when terminus got rid of the Angel they got back Kaalia.
Nameless one mentioned it. He just has it linked as Miracle, rather than terminus.

Thanks to Heroes of the Plane for the awesome Sig.
And Terminus tucks your general, preventing it from returning to the Command Zone. If there's a house rule in effect here, then sure, casting it again works no problem. I was just wondering^^
Crazy play with my wrexial Stealyour****andkillyouwithit.dec VS a grixis ramp declk (cool list. he ramps into nicol bolas dragon and doesn't afraid of anything, but he's full of fatties.).
Opponent casts bribery on turn 4 off artifact mana and lands.
I respond with commandeer, pitching a jace and a fact or fiction. I then cast twincast on it. first copy of bribery resolves, I grab his rune-scarred demon, fetching my memory plunder. Second copy grabs a frost titan, locking down his sol ring. I untap, cast memory plunder on his bribery. I show him a metamorh, copy the titan and attack. I pas the turn and he untaps with 2 mana, misses a land drop and flips the table.
I was playing a multiplayer game against Mimeoplasm, Ghave, and 99MountainAshling.dek while using Niv-Mizzet. Repeated Ashling nukes over the course of the game left all of us at 10 or fewer life, me being the lowest with a meager 3. Ashling takes his turn before me, playing his general for 12 mana, and still has enough land to crank her up and blow me away, but I bargain with him and he allows me to untap. On my upkeep, use my Mystical Tutor stick to find a Cyclonic Rift to save me. Ashling still waits it out, and then I tap to grab the stacked Rift with Desolate Lighthouse. At this point, he goes to blow Ashling with Lighthouse on the stack. To his surprise, I then tap for Nivix and and am able to bounce away Ashling with Rift, saving myself. I then go for the revenge strike using all of my remaining mana to kill him with Red Sun's Zenith. I was then promptly smashed with Ghave. It was a great game.

Decks:
I was playing Niv-Mizzet against Zur, who was getting a little out of control. I was able to stall him for a bit with a Wash Out, but I didn't have much else. He replayed Zur and a Steel of the Godhead and passed. I topdecked a Proteus Staff, slammed it, and hit Zur. He flipped a Desolation Angel off the top and destroyed all his lands. That pretty much put the game away for me, and he took the angel out of his deck immediately after.
So today I was playing Jarad at my LGS with my regular playgroup. I was in a particularly bad position, staring down 8 17/17's that were probably coming my way next turn and I was pretty damn low on life.
I had a Chameleon Colossus and a Deadwood Treefolk out, in addition to three soldier tokens. There are two cards out that are making forests tap for additional mana, so mine tap for three. I calculated it out and I needed to play a forest to have enough mana this turn to play Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord, pump the Colossus enough to kill every threatening player, and then sacrifice it.
But I don't draw that forest. So I shuffle my hand around and think, and then realize I'd drawn Birthing Pod off of mind's eye. And I suddenly have an idea, with the pod I can sac the treefolk to get Sutured Ghoul and... No wait, all the big creatures in my graveyard got exiled a turn ago by Scavenging Ooze. And then I realized I have a four drop out, and I have the perfect target. I play Jarad, then pod sac'ing colossus to search for Lord of Extinction, before remembering that I took it out of the deck last week.
And then I get all sad and lose. (But not before bringing a player down to 1 life sacrificing deadwood to deal 3, and then on his turn when he tried to combo off I sacrificed a soldier token to kill him. Hehe. Took 'im with me.)

Check out the thread for my cube if you have the time, and tell me how terrible it is.
Generals meant to be drafted first in a single pack of 6 cards.
And here is the actual cube, meant to be drafted in 4 regular sized packs. (60 card decks)
Can you say overkill?
I won with craterhoof behemoth giving all my dudes +40/+40
I had 27 plant tokens.
I had a game with Parallel Lives, Doubling Season, Life and Limb and a Mycoloth with about 40 +1/+1 counters. Baru, Fist of Krosa hit the board and the game was over next turn.
I was playing Adun Oakenshield, had no card left in hand but had a Birthing Pod in pay. I was sitting on 7 mana and had Prismatic Omen / Mana Reflection out.
My opponent's board was a huge Serra Avatar (153/153), Rhox Faithmender, Ajani's Pridemate and True Conviction. He had 5 cards in hand and a smile on his face. I proceeded to untap, then drew Master of the Wild Hunt, activated pod to see if I had any outs, and remembered I had Dong Zhou, The Tyrant in my 99. It landed and my opponent read the card, looked as his hand, went back to reading my card... No more grin on his face!
I invoke the name of Son_of_the_Suns!
Serra Avatar will knock your opponent down to from 153 to 153 in this case. Lifelink modifies damage as it is dealt.
That said, I think it goes from 153 to 306 due to Rhox Faithmender (don't have access to Oracle text now).
I had a game with Parallel Lives, Doubling Season, Life and Limb and a Mycoloth with about 40 +1/+1 counters. Baru, Fist of Krosa hit the board and the game was over next turn.
Was this during a game of solitaire?! How does that kind of a board develop.... :/

They probably play with bad players Min.
Remember the first game we played together? It was terribly fun! Turn 4 Armageddon with 4 mana rocks in play with Braids, Cabal Minion and Trinisphere, a Tormod's Crypt effect in play all at once!
I made that 6 player game into a 15 minute game :).

I didn't mind that game...I asked Kevin if it was casual and he said yes so I grabbed a jank deck... the next game I grabbed Thrun and tooth and nailed turn 3.
It was all so bad haha. In his game, its not about bad players as much as it may have been threat assessment. Doubling season NEVER leads to good games...lol.

Good games for everyone else. If your playing it, generally a good for you
One game a friend of mine had a bunch of creatures on the board and Avacyn, Angel of Hope.
I had Curiosity in my hand and Scion of the Ur-Dragon out on the field, but I knew the Avacyn player had to have had a counterspell.
He hadn't used one the entire game and we had been playing for at least an hour.
If he countered Curiosity it was over
Then for whatever reason, my other friend decided to show me the Insurrection in his hand.
It was a tough decision but I passed my turn.
Sure enough my buddy played Insurrection and it was countered.
This left me open to turn Scion into Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind and play Curiosity to kill the table.
Not the most amazing play, but I'm not an amazing player.

I like using the term "casual", it has many definitions. I haven't seen a turn 3 Tooth and Nail in forever, I'd like to see that happen again.
I think bad threat assessment explains why most games get devolved to this state.

It depends on how experienced your opponents are, I guess. In my playgroup every time I cast some powerful enchantment like that, I'm immediately a target for everyone else. But one day I was playing in another city with different people and had only a bunch of lands plus Emeria Angel with some birds in play. The next turn I played Mana Reflection, Parallel Lives and passed, fully expecting to see Austere Command, Oblivion Stone or something similar from my opponents. As it turned out, not only they didn't wipe my board - they didn't even attack me! Obviously the next turn I untapped, played Cathars' Crusade, Storm Herd and killed them all on the spot.
I just had one of the most explosive plays I've yet seen while piloting my Yeva deck.
I flashed in Avenger of Zendikar followed by Regal Force at EoT. I put 15 plant tokens into play, drew 17 cards and put a ton of land fetchers into play on my turn for the win. I did a total of 125 damage after all was said and done.
i made a nivvy-firemind deck the other day and played my first game in a three-way with a mimeoplasm-infect deck and a grand arbiter augustin iv self-mill. this was a huge departure for me since i had never in my life made a deck without green in it, let alone a control deck.
the game had gone on for almost an hour at this point. the arbiter hadn't found what he was looking for and i'd spent much of my time getting rid of the nevvy-disk he'd been recurring with academy ruins as the mime and i had more or less struck a truce (i wasn't doing it very well, since we had maybe four poison counters among us). life totals were something like me - 26, plasmer - 30, arby's - 42. EOT, i make him mostly tap out by twincasting boomerang on his disk and 8.5 tails. i have six cards in my hand thanks to reliquary tower. main phase, this was the stack (reverse order):
mind stone sac
firemind tap-2-draw
plagiarize
whirlpool warrior sac
reverberate copying wheel of fortune
augustin's hinder countering wheel of fortune
wheel of fortune
this was my first control deck game in my six-ish years of playing magic. i want to pursue this.
Love that Rasputin deck. Well-developed boards everywere (was playing against Scion and Animar). Since I had the weakest defenses out, Animar sends his guys my way. I assign my Archaeomancer to block Animar, then cycle Renewed Faith to Astral Slide the little wizard. I draw from cycling. Terminus. Two commanders vanish under their owner's decks. With both opponents crippled, I eventually win by repeatedly cycling Decree of Justice (thanks to sliding Archaeomancer) into a huge army of soldiers.
