Not really. Jaya effectively makes it a vanilla 4/4 for 3R, 4R, or 8RR. Jaya would prefer a creature that returns from graveyard to hand.
Pretty much. A vanilla creature that dies to 6 damage doesn't really have a place in Jaya. I don't expect to see a lot of Hollow One in this format. A 1 CMC vanilla 4/4 would be borderline and the rest of the card doesn't do much to convince me.

If I get one, I'll use it fairly in The Gitrog Monster. Searching for Evolving Wilds and Terramorphic Expanse sounds fun if I don't need the mana. (Yes, I'm a very casual player.)
Well, they fixed Primeval Titan (As a 5CMC sorcery which can only ramp once and with bodies that need a condition that probably would not be met in most games and doesn't end the world even if it did). Ultimately we don't have a lot of choices in searching ramping multiple nonbasic lands (especially without land-types) at one go, so this will definitely see play.
I feel like there are enough decent deserts (between the cyclers, the colorless life lands, and the grave-hate land) that it won't be hard to turn on the 2/2 zombie mode of Hour of Promise in decks that are trying to play it "fairly." (Heck, The Gitrog Monster likes almost all the desserts released, so there is that).
Otherwise there are plenty of degenerate things you can fetch up with it, which have been pretty well-trod.

You'd most likely be better off with Dakmor Salvage and another useful land, like Strip Mine. But yeah, Hour of Promise is bonkers. Even in a deck without utility lands, I like being able to fetch a UR and tri-color land in Intet, the Dreamer. I will definitely needs at least three copies of this card for my decks. Possibly four.
Hour of Promise looks promising, but aesthetically I don't like the idea of running it in a deck that lacks a sufficient number of Deserts. I'm not sure what I'll do.
Hour of Promise is interesting, to say the least. I love cards that search for nonbasic lands, but at a 5 cost, to really justify it, you need to get that extra desert value, I feel.
Might go into a lands deck, but I don't know if I'll throw a 5 cost ramp spell into anything not dedicated to lands.
Also its very good at sealing away enemy creatures if you steal them. That Blightsteel Colossus you got there? I hijack it for a joyride and run you over with it. Then I bury it in the sand so you can't have it back. Whats that? Your going to use some disruption to return the colossus safely while its attacking? Well in response I will just bury it in the endless sands.
Hour of Promise is definitely a worth fetch since it could bring any two lands into play. Again, fits very well with my Wort deck consider it also creates zombies for my conspire!

It's more than a ramp spell as long as you're building utility into your manabase and most EDH decks already do that. It's not just Cabal Coffers/Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth or Ancient Tomb/Temple of the False God. Grabbing Dark Depths/Thespian's Stage, or multiple combinations of Deserted Temple/Petrified Field/various other lands with interesting tap or sac abilities is easily worth it. The going rate for two basics or two forests is 4 CMC. Putting a nonbasic directly into play has either been Crop Rotation or one of several 4 CMC options with something else going on. I'm surprised that a double nonbasic land tutor wasn't costed higher given what we already have.

Disagree. Primetime was worth fighting over for its ETB alone. Even if he never saw a single combat phase, he was worth 6 mana. Hour of Promise gives you the same thing even if you're not running a single desert.
Hour of Promise and looking around what Deserts we now have made me plan for changing my Damia landfall/lands.dec into partially Desert-themed. The opportunity cost is fairly low - if anything, the deck becomes slightly more suspectible for nonbasic hate but it also has just about all of the ways to get lands back from graveyard (and we're getting one more this set, natch - come to mama, Ramunap Excavator).
Also, Chaos Maw is hilariously disappointing. Not sure what I'd want for a new hellion at 7 CMC... but that isn't it.
Imminent Doom seems like a cheaper, more build-around Sphinx-Bone Wand. Now let's watch someone make a killer-pile featuring the two anyway.

Mizzix + Imminent Doom, cast a 1-drop, then start casting Fanning the Flames with buyback.
Or with Mizzix in the 99 in a RUG deck, Wurmcalling. The Wurmcalling version even lets you omit the 4th card, and if you've got infinite mana with the Wurmcalling version, Imminent Doom isn't superfluous. (Of course, if you have infinite mana, Mizzix isn't needed either.)

Step 2: Play Clever Impersonator but have it die and not copy anything.
Step 3: Have Clever Impersonator be imprinted on the Mimic Vat.
Step 4: Then proceed to Ignite the Cloneforge! and you may now copy your desired Curses and other shenanigans.
Step 5: Use the Sundial of the Infinite to prevent the token from being exiled away.

This won't work unfortunately, as the zombies are black, and conspire requires the creature to be the same color as the spell.
