I am soooooo excited for Judith. Been looking dor a new Rakdos walker for a while. I tjought Xantcha was gonna be it hut I hated the idea of ruining the game for someone.
Judith though is basically everything I could ask for in a 3cmc Rakdos commander. Any suggestions on how tonmake her. Im sad she only triggers on nontoken but i think I can still make her work with cards like Bloodghast. Thoughts?
Hydroid Krasis seems pretty good for colors that already want +1/+1 counter synergy, but the fact that the lifegain and card draw are cast triggers and that this is an X-spell is both good and bad. Decks like Vorel will love this as they are well equipped to multiply the number of +1/+1 counters on it and will enjoy the added value. A deck like Riku won’t be able to use this at all as copying it gets you pretty much nothing. It’s an interesting concept that makes it more situational and synergy-oriented versus feeling like pure “good stuff”.
I also like it from a pure mana-to-Power ratio. Getting a 2/2 Trampling Flyer, drawing a card, and gaining a life is a decent deal for 4 mana, but the sweet spot is 6 or 8 mana where you can get massive value without an unrealistic mana cost.

Zombies seems to be the best idea since they recur themselves a lot, though the lack of blue would also prevent you from using some of them (Red does have quite a few zombies though). Since you mentioned Bloodghast, I also remember Haakon, Stromgald Scourge letting you play Knight spells from graveyard, which of course includes all shapeshifters as well.
I'd approach with deathtouch on Judith so your opponent is doomed if they block your creatures, doomed if they do not. And while tokens don't trigger the death effect, they still benefit from her +1/+0.

Tribal has its limitations, though there's no denial that zombies do have a lot of recur benefiting Judith's mechanic. You could include just the ones that recur and fill the rest with others. I'd also use Deathbringer Thoctar who also benefits from creature death and deathtouch.

Anyway, I'm having Drana tender her resignation in Alesha in light of Judith. Drana has always been so situational she actually rotated in-and-out of the deck several times to begin with but I'm quite confident Judith displaced her from the deck permanently. Sure, on paper Drana's evasion and potential stacking of power looks better but in practice there's just so many factors the whole thing becomes so situationally diluted I think the pings would actually do more lasting damage in the long run.

Continuous token generation will always be good. And, having tokens around also means that you could sacrifice them for purposes; a theme not far from Rakdos color pie, and Lyzolda, the Blood Witch is right into your grove.

Kaya.....wow.... the first planeswalker players will leave alone in commander not much use for it besides getting tons of stuff to exile then ultimate ulamog 2.0 is pretty much the only best combo option.

Those are kind of my feelings too. For what it's worth though, death triggers and commanders aren't really a good mix. Elenda, the Dusk Rose suffered from that problem. Wizards really needs to find out how to make legends with death triggers that still work in Commander.

Basicly training grounds on a body which is amazing since you can clone it as well to make stuff cheaper and can make adapt easier to use.
sphinx of foresight no where near as good as Thasa but can be a good budget alternative
hybrid krasis a slightly weaker uncounterable Sphinx's Revelation and it turns into a big body with flying and trample. animar, soul of elements is probably the best home for it since it will easily make it to 6 or 7 draw

The only bummer is that if I'm reading the wording correctly, I don't think it doubles up on triggers from abilities that trigger when something is sacrificed like Mazirek, Kraul Death Priest or Smothering Abomination. It's also a bummer that its in the wrong colors for something like Kresh the Bloodbraided or Sek'Kuar, Deathkeeper.
