Pilgrim's Eye is not great, that said, it buys a flying blocker as well as an artifact in play. It could go well in some red, white, and boros decks generally speaking. It works allright when what you are looking for is a lot of creatures in play, a cheap chump block, or some general low cost card advantage. It being an artifact is also useful as you could play it in say a Daretti, Scrap Savant deck where it could give you an artifact in play to sacrifice to recover something else. I think at one point I ran it in my Marton Stromgald deck as well where bodies in play mattered but so did my card advantage and hitting land drops.
It isn't worthless but generally speaking it comes down to colors that lack card advantage but need to hit their land drops. Its not bad for a slow rolling control deck either where it gives you something to chump block with and keeps the lands flowing. When artifacts matter and or when you are starving for card advantage is generally when you would consider Pilgrim's Eye.
I feel like Blightsteel Colossus / Karn, Silver Golem / Kuldotha Forgemaster are better questions though. Is anyone actually using Blightsteel? That thing is so slow and easy to answer I dont understand why anyone would use it. Karn 1.0? Its like a really really bad combo card with little to no other use. And the Forgemaster..... that thing is so slow and wonky that even in an artifact deck I have been underwhelmed by what it can do.

I get that it's playable in some decks, but I heavily question having a card that's never great in the top 25, even when there's not much competition (it's far from the only questionable choice though). I'd feel better about it if it was only 2 mana, but at 3 I'm very hesitant towards it. It has nice synergy with Daretti, making sure you hit the land drop to cast Daretti and then instantly having something to sac to him.
Yeah I'm no fan of Blightsteel either. Never played with or against someone with Karn in the 99, and Forgemaster... it's good in Arcum I guess? Never seen it anywhere else.
It's still too early for AER cards, I think?

Kuldotha is IMO the most powerful of the three. Slow and easy to answer sure, but repeatable tinker on demand? That is extremely powerful if it sticks around: it's no accident that tinker is one of the special few cards to be banned/restricted in every format it's legal in, even Commander. IIRC Tinker is considered the most broken card Mark Rosewater ever designed...and he designed a LOT of busted cards. This was already a good card before but the last two blocks take it to the next level with the proliferation of clue, servo, thopter tokens, and other artifact fodder providing cheap incredibly easy to access fuel for the forgemaster. Putting it in say the popular Breya deck seems to be a nobrainer.
Blightsteel Colossus is not a fantastic card but it is not terrible either. It's one of the few cards that can one-hit a player in Commander at any life total so that is not to be discounted. Given that Blightsteel tends to be cheated out early it can be troublesome to deal with, particularly for non-white decks.
Karn is not just a bad combo card and old school players will know it has a natural home in a wide variety of mono-brown decks. It is strong defensively and is also a powerful finisher thus it can be valuable in many board states, whether you're behind or ahead. Karn's other feature is it can surprise kill out of nowhere with just a pile of mana rocks or similar on the table. In a pinch it can even be used as artifact removal combined with other cards. I'm not an artifact deck kind of guy but I've certainly seen its value.
Re: Triskelion, cards that are really only good in specific combos are not what belongs on this list, in my opinion.
Because of the number of cards tied for second, and the fact that only one card received enough support, we'll just be voting for one spot this time around.

I guess I will nominate Gauntlet of Might. Its essentially a red heavy artifact but man, when you can use it its amazing what shaving off a few mana does. I have always noticed a big difference in paying 4 mana and 6 so to me the effect and cheaper cost of Gauntlet of Might really speaks for itself.

I'm not a big fan of Caged Sun (too expensive), but at least it only affects you. Gauntlet of Power is not symmetrical and requires you to run a lot of basics. I like Gauntlet of Might though, as red is probably the color that wants the effect the most, and 4 mana compared to 6 is a big difference.
I'll nominate Aetherflux Reservoir and uh, Talisman of Dominance. I'm not sure the best way to go about it, or if to even go about it at all, but I definitely think the cycle is good enough to be on the list.
I don't like Chromatic Lantern. I'd only really consider it on a budget or in decks wanting to use off-color cards. I do run Mind's Eye in Gisela but I'd probably never touch it outside of Boros, and I think we can do better than an option that only feels good in colors lacking better choices.

I would just note that Gauntlet of Might is a red colour identity card.
You can legally play it in any deck. Its more or less a red card but its a red card in that you could call Urborg a black non creature.

Red creatures get +1/+1.
Whenever a Mountain is tapped for mana, its controller adds R to his or her mana pool (in addition to the mana the land produces).
Colour identity
Hummmm so it is. I did not expect there to be an errata on that one I guess. With all of the original wording as the card is there is no color identity to it. I guess I was unaware that the wording of the card required an errata.
