You know, I was trying to find a suitably terrifying Natural Order target for a aggro-stax build I'm working on, and I had totally forgotten about the Don, honest to god. Times sure have changed since the primordial EDH ooze of 2012.
Terastadon is one of those cards that highlight why I despise green players.
"Oh you're so mean for getting rid of my Gaea's Cradle EDH is supposed to be for fun. Like the fun you all would be having if I could cast Terastadon and hit your lands very early."

Like, you gotta pick one dude.
I always get hate for being the Blue player, and there's the classic "Take Tiro out first" for that reason. But for me, I always kill/nullify the mono-Green player on sight for that exact reason you mentioned. I guess these colors really are enemies.

Yeah they are, but the aforementioned are all examples of players being dicks, not cards being inherently broken. It frustrates me when people blame a card for their friends' degeneracy.

+1
Also, bring back Primeval Titan, because it's not the card that's broken. I just me that's the problem...
On Topic, T-Don is a good card. I play it in mono-green lands matter because the cost is less of an issue in that deck, and it deals with many permanents at once. The elephants do make this card somewhat more balanced. And the proliferation of non-land, non-creature permanents in many games make it a solid inclusion. In many decks I prefer Woodfall Primus for hitting 2 cards, coming back to play on first death for more beats, and not giving my opponents creatures to hit me back with.
Early game Terastodon is mean, but likely doesn't happen frequently. If it does, it may be a player issue, not a card issue. Much easier ways to provoke a scoop early game than spamming T-Don.

Please no. Every game became all about stealing, cloning, and reanimating Prime Time until its owner was either eliminated or PT got exiled. And then if there was a second green player at the table, it all started over with theirs.

I always just take out the blue player automatically. Whether that be waiting for them to full tap t3 for their Thada Adel to Boil them, or just stick t2 Scald to let them suicide themselves. If you're on islands, that's an auto-target before you just combo kill us. Since that's what blue decks all do anyway.
This one time, I was playing an Azami deck. I had to Pact of Negation something after playing Azami. That's fine, right, since it's turn 6, I had a Sapphire Medallion to discount some spells, and 6 lands going on 7 next turn. Here came Terastedon to bring that down to 3 lands.
Elephants.
Sounds like a case of the blues. I've played mono blue and had someone Bribery another player for Terastodon and destroy 3 of my lands just because I was playing mono blue. Lesson - don't play mono blue. You will be targeted.

Not every blue deck is trying combo-kill, mine didn't, but that certainly is the perception for many people.
Terastadon is only broken with leyline of the void vor R.I.P, otherwise its meh. It can be blinked sure. So just heros downfall it or board wipe or something
How is Terastodon broken with Leyline of the Void?
