Wondering if I could get some people's help. I've never really played combo, and I've definitely never dabbled in enchantment-based combo before. I've looked over the infinite combos database, but I didn't see anything that really stuck out. Either there aren't that many enchantment-based combos, or they aren't all listed on there yet. I assume Enchanted Evening plays a part in a lot of combos. Maybe I could run that out there with Opalescence and Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite? That seems pretty convoluted. Anywho, I'd love to hear what can be pulled off with enchantments in Bant, and would much appreciate your input!
Hmm... thanks for the suggestions thus far guys, although they were things I had come across at one point or another here and there. I guess I was just hoping for something super awesome that I'd never heard of before.

Yes, I was going to say this myself. AllYourEnchantmentAreBelongToUs.dec is the way to go. Follow it up with an Opalescence and that's probably the game right there.
no need for elesh norn, enchanted evening and Opalescence is already state-based LD. If you have enduring ideal going first you fetch paradox haze then go for enchanted evening and Opalescence on your first turn after you cast enduring ideal.

What are the chances of your enchantments lasting until you've set up your full combo at a multiplayer table after you've cast Enduring Ideal? With multiple opponents having chances to respond and me being unable to cast spells, Ideal has always felt like more of an "I lose" button than an "I win" one in multiplayer EDH. I could just be looking at it wrong, though.

Well.... considering the first thing you do is dovescape or humility its actually pretty good. Both of those protect themselves with their abilities so depending on who you are up against grab the more appropriate one first.
It will totally take until the next turn to set up the lock and then a third turn to defend yourself but due to how the cards sort of defend themselves its fairly hard to stop.
If you end up with some of the pieces in hand there is always Omniscience to drop the pieces then epic into things. Thats quite harsh too.

I have officially moved to MTGNexus. I just wanted to let people know as my response time to salvation decks being bumped is very hit or miss.
Chandra, Torch of Defiance - Oops! All Chandras.
Prime Speaker Zegana - Draw for Power.
Pir & Toothy - Counterpalooza.
Arcades, the Strategist - Another Brick in the Wall.
Zacama, Primal Calamity - Calamity of Double Mana.
Edgar Markov - Vampires Don't Die.
Child of Alara - Dreamcrusher.
I don't have any hard numbers on this, but I'm targeted more often than a black guy driving a beat-up sedan with a broken tail-light and no license plate, and Cy's well aware of that.

Well you did say strongest.
Fair enough. I guess I was just hoping there was some uber Bant enchantment combo out there I wasn't familiar with.

From there just pick up an enchant to draw you cards to power out the Confinement all you need.

I like to kill off my Aura Thief with a pongify.
You can also utilize Enchanted Evening with Scour to empty their deck of lands... then follow it up with an Aura Thief.

1) Enchanted Evening + Cleansing Meditation/Aura Thief with Aura Shards for vindicates.
2) Earthcraft + Intruder Alarm + Sigil of the Empty Throne/Squirrel Nest
Combo 2 works extremely well with Enchanted Evening + Aura Shards
New combo I've been trying is:
Omniscience + Recycle which leads to combo 1 and 2.
edit: not actually that strong I guess but it is Badical

Hag Hedge-MageRot Farm Skeleton(B/G)(U/G)Dormant Sliver(U/G)
Also you have 3 cards that can give your enchantments hexproof/shroud: Privileged Position, Sterling Grove and Greater Auramancy. A combo of two of them leaves your enchantments invincible to all but mass removal like Austere Command.
Speaking of Enduring Ideal, if you run that card you may want to look into Paradox Haze.

The only one of those I'm not currently running is Moat, because... y'know... $300...

That's effing brilliant. I'll have to incorporate that into a deck. Cheers for that one.

One of the only buggers about pulling that off in bant is only having one or two tutors for finding Jace (Wargate, Intuition).
