I love my Kaho, Minamo Historian deck. The card selection and card advantage it gives is just insane. That being said, people like to bounce/remove your general just because it has cards on it, even when you only have Call to Heel, Tome Scour and Jump on it.
Came here to say this. A solid tutor general which notably does NOT play as linearly as most tutor generals. Unique for bonus points. Tons of evasion in the deck means other blockers can go make a sandwich. Can't wait to build it myself when I get the chance.
Besides the fact that you have to play mono white, Jareth (I dont know how to auto link) is just a freaking win stick if he gets to attack a couple times.
As for me, Id say that Arcum is underated...as for "fair" style of deck. I have my build that I have been molding for a while, and while I do have some redonkulous 'I win' combos, they are all 3 card minimum, and I refuse to tutor the last piece ever. When played in this style, it can be one of the most fun decks to play, because it just feels like such a resilient deck that almost always has a different route to victory. Unfortunately whenever I play outside my local play group, people just assume that I am going to turn 3/4 insta wipe repeat them so I will always be the target of everyone...as for that reason I feel like Arcum is both overrated and underrated!
I think people don't give cromat enough credit as a legit general. Everyone runs him as a colour enabler, but he is a frickin beast. He is extremely resilient in combat, hard to tuck (he can do a controlled tuck to your topdeck in response), he can hop over blockers (which every opponent seems to forget by the end of the game, right before I kill them by doing so), and he can pump for the last bit of damage needed or to survive damage sweepers.
I've been toying around with a cromat domain-themed edh deck, and despite using pretty low-power stuff, it has continued to post good results.
Just got to say, you've definitely earned distinction as an MTGS hero

Because he's the hero MTGS deserves, and the one it needs right now. So we'll global him. Because he can take it. Because he's not just our hero. He's a silent guardian, a watchful protector. An expired rascal.

ExpiredRascals you sir are a god-like hero.

ER is a masterful god who cannot be beaten in any endeavour.
On the mono-red boat, Heartless Hidetsugu needs some more love. I've knocked out an entire table on turn 6 with this guy, and his ability is the epitome of red burn.
Hell yeah. Old Heartless was my first EDH deck, and it still inspires fear in my playgroups to this very day.
Just remember to stay true to Red's mindset and refrain from putting in stupid life-gain crap like Basilisk Collar.
(OK, so my build does have an foil Angelheart Vial in there, but it's only for the artwork/cheap card-draw, I swear :P)

UB Sygg is actually a pretty popluar general. At least from my experience...
