I just really want Wizards to reprint older cards that are currently out of my price range. I don't care about the collectible value of the cards. Collectors can suck it, this is a player's game.
Eternal Witness is not that expensive. Most of the listed cards you can find for around 10 dollars. Yes that is pricey for a piece of cardboard but still. Sol ring was reprinted in FTV too. When I buy a top or trade for one, I dont look at it as a waste because that card WILL hold its value.
I want for the next set, assuming that it's New Phyrexia, to have five mono-colored legends. The catch? Each one is one of the five Praetors, a symbol of what it means to be Phyrexian in a color.

Lorthos count:40 (1 foil) and I will always trade for more...
I almost started a Speculation thread about the new commanders, but I'll just bump this one. I'd like a RWU one to be a minotaur. The tribe gets little-to-no love (I'm so effing sick of effing goblins; don't tell me there's no room in any set for a decent ability midsize creature), and, for whatever reason, the Invasion era stuff printed minotaurs with white and blue affinities.
Of course, I'd like some tribal griffin action, too. They at least have a general. Razor Hippogriff? Are you effing kidding me? Create a new type for no reason whatsoever? Probably designed by the same idiot that made Hunted Lammasu.
White bombs that do something besides gain life or make a messload of tokens. Come on Wizards, can't you come up with something more original for white?
I have an idea
"Pacifist Angel"
"Creature-Angel
"4WW"
"Flying
All other creatures, except pacifist angel can't attack or block"
"3/7"
While not the best bomb, it would work in my playgroup where alpha strike generals are the biggest thing.

Minotaurs were printed in blue in Homelands as well, like Labyrinth Minotaur. Their association with mazes might be what's supposed to make them tend toward blue in addition to red, I'm not sure.
I think a WUR or at least UR minotaur general would be cool.
give me a tribal BWR knight commander.
give me a tribal BWRG knight commander (blue just never seemed appropriate to me as a knight color. Most scholars look down on the practices of standard warfare)
I want alot of this dumb creature type stuff re-evaluated. We shouldn't have Clerics and monks... they should be the same. Creating more and more viarable creature types just frustrates people that actually like to play tribal.
Enemy mana fixing is huge for me... BW is like my favorite color combination but its soo hard to actually run efficiently. I get that enemy colors are supposed to be difficult to run in comparison to allied colors... but to me that just seems outdated design philosophy... Colors should just intereact differently when working together. After all these years of playing magic I like to think that the color pie is no longer just R, W, B, U, G.
To me it went from a color pie divided 5 ways, to a color pie divided 15 ways (5 true colors and the 10 combinations of ways that colors interact with each other).
I would like for some more ways to combat combo in the format as a whole and red to get some of the power from blue (effectively bringing blue down to everyone elses power and red up to everyone elses level of power)
And I would REALLY like a Mono black (or Black/White hybrid) general that really fits the Drain Life theme from old school Mono Black Control decks I used to play. When i started EDH that was my big goal, but as time has moved on it just turns out that Drain Life and its ilk just arn't good enough card advantage anymore lol. Ob Nixilis and Skythirix get the job done for MBC but they do so without the actual feel of draining someone elses life force into yours to fuel your desire for knowledge and power.
I want to see some kind of affordable, uncommon hybrid cycle of Terramorphic Expanse and fetchlands. Why can't budget players fix their mana without either devoting tons of deck slots or effectively starting several turns behind everyone else?
As a standalone:
T, Pay 1 life, sacrifice: Search your library for a basic land card and put it onto the battlefield. Then shuffle your library.
As part of a cycle:
T: Add 1 to your mana pool.
T, Pay 2 life, sacrifice: Search your library for a basic Forest or Plains and put it onto the battlefield. Then shuffle your library.
Or even just:
T: Add 1 to your mana pool.

Some better dual lands for EDH would be great... I hate getting beat because I can't drop $500 on the original dual lands.
Functional reprints of the old duals would be sick, or new fetches, or new tri-color lands for all combinations ;-p Or take the advice of the post above me and print a cycle of fetches (like the panoramas only with having to pay 1 mana - paying 2 life would be way better and the land should come in untapped - puts them at the same power level as the fetches). In fact, functional reprints of the best older cards will always be welcome, especially the legends and staples (who actually has Xiahou Dun, The One Eyed? he's an awesome general though - and spells like Force of Will and Mana Drain that are big in online play but not in real play).
New, interesting legends (like what they plan on printing this summer) would be great as well. Legends that you can really build a deck around.

<--- My response when I got a NM Xiahou Dun for 35$.
My biggest are and always will be(until it happens) better versions of the PC dragons like Karador. And some type of better mana fixing.
I came back just to reiterate how badly I want some good BGU stuff. How about a block like Alara, except it's wedges instead of "corners" or whatever you call a color + 2 allies?

"I think EDH would be more fun for the majority of participants if players just showed eachother their decks rather than actually playing games out."
I'm down for a more functional BW general. As much as I appreciate Teysa and GCO, I feel like they're really lacking when it comes to deck construction - Teysa with her dinky combos and GCO's ability, while relevant at times, fairly weak for the most part. You could argue that Selenia is useful for some single-card combos, but even that is both gimmicky and risky.
As for a personal 1v1 wish, I'd want a low-costed creature that Duresses when it comes into play!
give me a tribal BWR knight commander.

Knight of the mists is one of my favorite knights of all time and you want to exclude him from all the fun!

A legendary spider. It would be at least GB, possibly UGB or WGB. Maybe something like this:
Not-Shelob 4WGB
Legendary Creature - Spider
Reach, Infect, Vigilance WGBT: Exile target attacking or blocking creature. Put an egg counter on Not-Shelob. 2GB: Put X 1/2 black and green Spider creature tokens with reach and infect onto the battlefield, where X is twice the number of egg counters on Not-Shelob.

2/6
I don't even like spiders and I want a card like that.
Id like to see a legendary equipment with living weapon. Something like...
Placeholder, the blah blah blah 5
Legendary Artifact- Equipment
Living Weapon
All Equipment you control enter the battlefield with Living Weapon BB: Put a 0/0 black germ token into play and <equip card name> to that token.
Equip 5
Equipped creature gets +5/+5
Daddy like! That's a cool artifact. If it gave troll-shroud it would be extra awesome.
I'd like a UR planeswalker that can loot, burn for cards in hand, and then something ridiculous.
Cheers,

I WANT A 5-COLOR LEGENDARY ANGEL!!!!
It pisses me off to no end that Maelstrom Archangel wasn't legendary. I want to make an angel EDH deck but all the 5 color generals suck!!
And I agree with everyone else that Red need more tutoring effects. Maybe this:
Tutor of Fire
2R
As an additional cost to play Red Tutor, sac a land. Search your libary for any card and reveal it, and put it in your hand.
I collect pre-release Stone-Tongue Basilisk
