MTG Salvation

I just started playing magic and is trying to build a commander deck but have been overwhelmed by the amount of cards I can use lol. I'm thinking of just building a straight forward white green aggro deck but am not sure what are the cards I can use to keep returning cards from graveyard to hand or battlefield or at least shuffle it to library.

Of course I'm not asking one card that can return all types of cards. But say what card can I use to return an instant? A sorcery? An artifact? An enchantment? A creature? etc? Is there a list?

And is a permanent considered as everything except instant and sorceries? So planeswalker is also considered a permanent right?

I have thought about using eternal witness to return a card I want from graveyard. And if it's killed, I can use creatures like Reya Dawnbringer or Genesis to return it to battlefield or hand. And if either of the two dies, I can play Eternal witness again and get the died creature back. Is this how it works? So if three opponents keep using destroy all creature spells on the table, I can still gain cards back using Eternal Witness right?

Mimic Vat is psuedo-recursion and one of the best (imo) cards in the game to abuse "enters the battlefield" or "leaves the battlefield" abilities.

Nim Deathmantle can be pretty good for etb/ltb tricks too (especially with Karmic Guide).

Don't forget that just getting a creature back isn't really the best part of recursion, it's all about re-using it's etb/ltb abilities.
