There is, of course, the biggest threaten effect of all: Insurrection. Also, I use Twist Allegiance in my Homura deck, which doesn't run a ton of creatures of its own and has a lot of sacrifice effects, where it acts as a back-up Insurrection.
Evangelize is at the top of the curve in my brion deck. It is almost always; wraith, then steal the best creature to have come out since my last turn, every turn. That also usually ends up being people's generals.
Side note- another fun little diddy for being able to direct other players creatures is master warcraft. It doesn't allow you interact with any specific creature as i you controlled it but when the Kresh the Bloodbraided player casts Reiver Demon and gets +37/+37 on their kresh you can decide who dies while making sure it's not you.
I can't believe no one has mentioned Gilded Drake or Treachery. I play them in every deck that has blue, as they are the best theft cards ever. Treachery is essentially free, and can net you mana, if you're playing stuff like Coffers or some karoos. Gilded Drake is amazing cause he is so cheap and he can be recurred and abused so easily.
