Lin Sivvi, Defiant Hero because rebels have enough utility to deal with anything My playgroup throw at them. Also, as Telekinesis pointed out switching between aggro, combo and control is dead easy with Her.
Not a fan of Lin Sivvi, or Mageta for that matter. Could be my playgroup but they're both liable to be overrun.
Linvala, Keeper of Silence as a general is superb. Stops Azami, Daggson, Sisay, Mayael, et al. Comes down early enough to be relevant and can go voltron on people.
I would say no to Lin Sivvi myself. Once you see her in action once or twice she becomes very predictable and gets hated off the table a lot. Nothing pisses a table off more than someone saying I gain infinite life.
I have actually had a lot of luck running Linvala, Keeper of Silence. So I guess thats who I will vote for.
There are so many decks that combo out using their general or just build arround their general tapping or activating for an ability that shutting them out of is soooo good.
I have enjoyed running her as an equipment general as well as she comes in early, has flying, destroys my enemies utility creatures and swings for general damage

I have officially moved to MTGNexus. I just wanted to let people know as my response time to salvation decks being bumped is very hit or miss.
I have had a lot of success running Konda with 18-20 board wipes, lots of indestructables, and equipment tutors for World Slayer.

I'm a big fan of Akroma. Sure, she's expensive, but haste plus all kinds of relevant abilities makes her a great finisher for a slow-roll control deck.

I vote for Crovax, Ascendant Hero. He is hard to kill, has a relevant disruption effect (particularly against utility creatures) and has a good synergy with tokens, which are a strength of white and useful in multiplayer to stall the board in your favor.
Kemba has my vote. A voltron general that brings her own back up seems ideal for not over committing to the board while still applying reasonable pressure.
My vote is for Darien, King of Kjeldor. Not threatening on his own, so he doesn't scare anyone, but makes you dudes if anyone messes with you. Soldier tribal is also relatively strong, which Darien works beautifully with.

Linvala, Might draw some more hate but her ability shuts down so many creatures and strategies the moment she hits the board. (good for slowing down omnath etc)
I also vote for Lin Sivvi, Defiant Hero because she can answer almost any situation and provides much needed card advantage for mono white. Plus, reactive generals are pretty efficient compared to proactive ones.

My apologies, children, for I am afraid I cannot save you all.
Im going with eight-and-a-half-tails the ability to gain protection from anything makes it able to push through general damage or just plain counter all sorts, very powerful both early and late game.

Wow, I'm really surprised to see the love for linvala. I mean sure, she's strong, but even though I run very few combo decks I'd hate her off the board ASAP for her obnoxious ability. She seems really, really hateable. Plus any self-respecting combo deck should have a way to get rid of her EOT so it can combo out. White has lots of instant-speed removal to stop combo, linvala seems much less effective than that.
(btw, she doesn't directly stop omnath's ability ofc...i guess you must have meant stops his mana elves? But still, that just means he'll be gunning for YOU, while if you didn't play linvala he'd be spreading his hate around the table, so you'd probably take a lot less damage overall.)
lin sivvi i can see.
akroma I've never been impressed with. sure she's big, but that's really it, and there are lots of beefier creatures around. the vigilance helps a lot, but still...meh...it's a 4 turn kill without equipment, and probably a 3 turn kill with it. That's pretty slow for a multiplayer game. I've never had a problem beating down my friend's akroma.

Akroma is strong more for the deck achetype than Akroma herself. Mono-white control can be very effective in shutting down a lot of decks, especially in multiplayer games and is hard to hate out. Akroma just happens to be the strongest finisher for white, and all of her abilities are relevant. Haste and flying are obvious, First Strike is better than people think, it kills all the titans and wurmcoil engines running around, pro black/pro red makes her immune to half the removal.
White doesn't have a lot of effective finishers. Storm Herd sucks, Reverse the Sands works but you need something else to finish everyone or you'd be taking on the entire table by yourself, I guess there's a couple mono-white combos, and other than that, there's really not a lot to work with. Akroma gives white control that finisher.

I second this. Indestructibility is actually a really powerful ability. Vigilance on a 8/8 defender is never a bad thing, either.
From the mind of Raymond Swanland: Valla, a plane made entirely out of brownish spikes.
She's just so versatile.
