Things to notice. Volrath's stronghold is incredibly synergistic with the deck. Can get a turn 3 Scion. Which mean turn 4 bolas attacks.
Things I want out.
Oversold cemetery, with stronghold, I have never used it.
Fertile ground, my lands kept getting bounced before it became useful.
and Obliterate. I have not done an alpha strike with this yet. (floating 5 mana and obliterating field and playing scion.) I believe I never will.
Vorosh, The hunter- he has not been helpful.
I promote keeping Vorosh. A friend of mine has a Scion deck and one of his favorite plays is to duplicate Vorosh, activate his ability, and the switch to Dragon Tyrant for a total of 18 damage and leaves you with 12 counters on Scion(the Vorosh ability is continuous and remains after scion has switched to a new dragon). He also uses Chameleon Colossus to make his Scion pro-black if needed. Bladewing the Risen and Patriarch's Bidding can bring your dragons back. Defense of the Heart is another good TnN effect (arguably better).
Out of curiosity, who says the Vorosh ability is continuous? You have to put the damage on the stack to activate the ability, so the double strike phase had already passed.
The ability says "whenever Vorosh deals combat damage". You activate his ability before you attack and then switch him. The double-strike will then trigger the ability twice. Once you activate the ability should remain on even if you change him to Tyrant I believe.
Could somebody clearly explain the steps involved? Sounds like a fun trick, but I am sure there would be some doubters unless I explained it clearly to them.
Also, isn't it possible to get Teneb, the Harvester into play using Scion of the Ur, and paying 6B? A friend of mine does it all the time in his dragon deck.

Unfortunatly, it doesn't work that way.
The card text is "Whenever Vorosh, the Hunter deals combat damage to a player, you may pay 2G. If you do, put six +1/+1 counters on Vorosh."
So, you can only pay the 2G ability if he deals combat damage to a player.
If it was to be worded how you want it to, it would have to say:
"2G: The next time Vorosh deals combat damage to a player this turn, put six +1/+1 counters on Vorosh"
"The universe is not required to be in perfect harmony with human ambition."
"Who are we? We find that we live on an insignificant planet of a humdrum star lost in a galaxy tucked away in some forgotten corner of a universe in which there are far more galaxies than people."

I don't think that works, because the dragon copy doesn't gain the ability of scion, from what I read. So what I do is just chain it a bunch of times to get things in the grave for teneb to be happy with.
Thanks for the suggestions guys, I really like what is going on.
Fair enough, I'm busting him next time we play for that play.
That's what I like to hear

If you're refering to making your Scion into Teneb, and then using his ability to reanimate the real Teneb in your graveyard, it costs 5B, and since Scion is still teneb, the legend rule will blow them both up...not a great play in my book...

i could be wrong but i think you can get teneb in using scion.. if you make scion a copy of teneb, run in, put tenebs ability on the stack then change scion before the ability resolves... costs 2 + 2B + 2... 6B... it seems like it works with player knowledge of rules but i aint no judge..
This doesn't work. I think you guys should probably read scion...it becomes a copy of the card and DOES NOT RETAIN THE SCION ABILITY TO TUTOR. It is not like a doppleganger. There aren't that many super cool tricks you can do. Although last night I was playing with my friend, he attacked I payed 2 to look for a creature, he responded by terminating my scion. I payed 2 more, got quicksilver dragon with that trigger redirected his terminate to a magister's sphynx and with the first trigger got a keiga and blocked his akroma. Was pretty awesome
I feel like the Hondens are kinda random. I would replace them with more reanimation effects like Makeshift mannequin. Other than that, perhaps Karrthus, Tyrant of Jund. Should win in case of mirror match or other dragon decks. Beware of an opponent playing Karrthus as well.

Your general is immune to the legendary effect, but it will kill Teneb unless the Scion is something else when the citp ability resolves.
Since when? Your general always dies to the legend rule.
I don't see any way you could get Teneb into play without both Teneb and the general dying to the legend rule; there is no way to stack an activation of Scion in such a way that damage is dealt by Teneb (to activate his ability) with the Scion ability on the stack.
