Confirming the undeserved victory for d0su round 1. crz87 did in fact 2-0, if it weren't for Mana Crypt. Those pesky rules, always ruining our fun.
Mana Crypt did allow him an explosive opener round 2, but I don't think it changed the outcome for the following reasons:
1. His deck rocks
2. My deck sucks
3. I'm a bad player, missing a Genesis trigger and everything
4. Winter Orb and Arcum Dagsson were the real problems
Nicely played, crz87. Hope to see you around! I emailed the log to Clem, for the record.
Okay, uhm just got home from playing EDH and am processing now.
Since crz87 played the match with banned cards, that will be a match loss and the match will be marked as a win for d0su.
crz87, if you want to continue playing you may do so just with a deck without the banned cards and replace those with basic lands. If you chose to continue please send me a list of the before and after versions of the deck with a new code. I'd love it if you decided to stay in but I understand wanting to drop if you have to replace the cards with basics.
Hey Lilti, sorry for not responding sooner. I sent you a pm so we can play whenever. I will send my decklist and deck security code to Clem as soon as I get beck home. Looking forward to the match :)!
Is it possible to have Ib Halfheart, Goblin Tactician sacrifice two Plains to create two 1/1 black Lizard tokens? Yes. And until you have tried doing so, how can you judge the level of efficiency that doing so holds?

You mean metal_cocoabo, right? And was it 2-0 or 2-1? I think you mean 2-0 but I want to be sure.
Edit: So this idea came up in a talk with the RC today; Who would be interested in the winner having their deck list posted in a thread that would be a sticky at the top of the forums? There will be a poll in this thread to gauge how people feel about this. Please, if you are a player in this tournament vote on it. Thanks in advance. Note: the poll results won't make a final decision ether way, this is simply to see how people feel about this idea. I know more than a few of you don't want to share your deck lists so this idea may not be appealing to you.
That winner gets their decklist posted sounds great.
Also, how long does my opponient get? If he shows up at the last minute and I can't play in that timeframe I think I deserve the win. This is really agitating.

If both players made a serious attempt at connecting by the end of the tournament, then the match should be an intentional draw.
However if only one player made a decent to serious attempt at connecting, then that player will recieve the match win, and I would go so far as to say that the opponent who did not show up should be dropped from the tournament.
At least that is how it is done in the Legacy Tournaments here on Salvation

Well on the first page he sent me a PM asking for times and I replied but since that nothing.
then I would personally rule that he gets a game loss and probably a DQ unless he contacts you between now and the end of the round, but even then that is pushing it a bit far.

While I have heard from my opponent once, he hasn't said boo to me since then, and I've been waiting on him to get his deck info sent in.

I'm ready to play any time you want today, or tomorrow, sir. You name the time and I'm there.
We'll see what happens next round!
