Hi guys below is my first attempt at an EDH deck which has gradually developed over the last 2-3 weeks. Right now I'm looking for ways to improve it and if possible find some more defensive cards for multipler games since I tend to play choas games between 4-7 other players. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.
For now I'm keen to add the cards below when/if I could get hold of them:
i have a Sharuum deck myself. its made for one on one matches though. take a look at it when you get a chance.
i see you have a control deck, where you play cards that take other cards. it's good but in multiplayer it just puts a huge target on your head.
also, i see a bunch of bombs that (decree of justice, akroma, baneslayer angle) while being good, don't run with the artifact theme.
i'm not going to tell you to scrap your list and run my deck (actually, don't run my deck, it's good but not the best) i'm just saying to focus more on a theme or archetype that best suits your play style.
so, the 7 cards you want in, here's what i'd take out for each:
mind stone for Gilded lotus
tidings for moat (idk, i wouldn't run it, but if i did)
dissipate for mana drain
Shizo, Death's Storehouse for Minamo, school at water's edge
Secluded Glen Wanderwine Hub and Exotic Orchard for the WUB cycle lands.

Artificer's Intuition belongs in every Sharuum deck. Fetches Sol Ring, Top, Pithing Needle, Executioner's Capsule, Dispeller's Capsule, and Voyager Staff.
All which are 1cc artifacts that should be run. All the while it dumps fatties into the graveyard to recur.
I like to run stuff that can put Magister Sphinx into the graveyard as soon as possible like Entomb, Buried Alive, and Corpse Connoisseur. Then bring it back with Sharuum and win the next turn.
I also LOVE Lightning Greaves (pretty sure it should be in almost every EDH deck) because if you get it on an Arcanis or Transmuter, you're having a great day. Regardless it's a great artifact and pumps your Academy.
I run Soulscour in my Sharuum deck and if you can resolve that, it's usually GG!
Ghostly Prison and Propaganda seem like a waste, unless it's a meta call because you're seeing a LOT of token decks?
I'm not a fan of Counterspell at all in EDH, I'd much rather have Forbid (which works amazingly well with Sharuum!). And Dissipate should probably be Hinder. Mana Vault should probably be Thran Dynamo... I'm not saying the 1 damage is that important, however I find myself tapping out on most turns in EDH and having an artifact that you can only pay on your upkeep to untap is not that good. I was running Basalt Monolith in my Llawan deck and decided that Worn Powerstone is much better.
As far as your question, mana curve isn't direly important... unless you're running up against a Doran General (then you need stuff to do). I've actually found Fatestitcher to be amazing in all my blue EDH decks due to the fact that it can mana accelerate (untapping lands or artifact mana), tap down most generals, and even mana starve an opponent (rarely used however). He really is an all star!
I'd also suggest cards that allow you get better use out of your CITP abilities like Momentary Blink, Crystal Shard, and Erratic Portal. All of them can protect your creatures and give you something when they come back into play (Duplicant? Draining Whelk? Trinket Mage?). I even like Mulldrifter for card advantage (2uu or 3u to draw 2 cards every turn is nice).
