For playable in mono-white, Disk isn't bad but I actually prefer O-Stone as it can be activated immediately (and can leave something behind if you care to take the time for it).
Mageta the Lion was actually played in the rebel decks in their day so that would be quite in flavor.
I would honestly never put Wrath of God in the top 10 sweepers for EDH purposes. I certainly don't run it in my mono-white list.
Yeah, *** is good but their are much better options out there. In more serious constructed formats, ***'s low cost wins out over other cards. In EDH you don't have to worry about the cost as much so you need to get more bang for you buck.
In Lin Sivvi, mana efficiency definetely matters. It's not like you won't have anything to do after wrath. Also, beware the sweepers with wholes in them. Too often, they won't take care of the creatures you want to remove.

Hallowed Burial is by FAR the best one in EDH. It gets rid of other generals almost for good. As long as you play smart and wait for your general to not be on board, then its a total beating
Wasn't there a ruling change in EDH when M10 came out stating that nothing is banned anymore, just suggested for house rulings? Perhaps my sources are mistaken...

I don't think so. The rules page still has an active banned list.
EDH was never a sanctioned format so technically there are no actual banned lists. there are recommended banned lists and balance is on the recommended banned list. if you would like to know what the recommended banned list is it is posted below
For versatility, Austere Command is one of the better sweepers out there. Akroma's Vengeance / Planar Cleansing is also quite good as a sweeper. I personally don't run white without Wrath of God. Creatures are so important in EDH that any way to handle them is good.

The only thing I can think of that would be anywhere close to this is that they got rid of the watch list.

the history behind it is that im playing a mono-white multiplayer EDH and im running Lin Sivvi as my general.
Im planning to run 10 board sweepers (sweepers and rebels go together) but i dont have much knowledge with older cards
what are the top 10 ideal mono-white board sweepers out there?
i know Wrath of God is one of them.
thanks

Sunscour
Retaliate

All mostly situational, but none mentioned yet. Solar Tide works wonders in my Doran, the Siege Tower EDH

Yes it is. I don't think they want people playing 50 for 1s at the multiplayer table.

This, except Wrath of God over Winds of Rath
