My friend and I are relatively new to EDH (him more so than me)but in the past few months we've each picked up enough cards to where we thought we could build a solid EDH deck. There's no "league" per se around here, most of the time we just play in between rounds at FNM. I still would like to see what changes we can make.
this deck is my friend's, focusing mainly on karrthus and dragons.
Frankly his deck doesn't have a lot of direction and there's not much that he does trading for so his budget is kind of limited to cracking packs of standard.
My deck revolves more on making tons of creature tokens and letting them die to trigger cards like kresh, hissing iguanar, and grave pact. then soul's fire or mage slayer on the general takes care of the opponent's life total quickly enough. I trade quite a bit here so I'm a bit more flexible with my card base.
