Ok, So I'm lookin to make an Azami deck, but I'm 15 cards over the limit. I need to cut those out. If anyone has any suggestions for things to add, I'll be happy to hear those too, but I'm really looking to make it legal first.
A few of the cards are in for flavor reasons (ei: Tomorrow), and other cards like Last Word are in because I like them.
I realize how good Ponder and Brainstorm are, but I just don't like them much in EDH. They're cheap low-impact one-off shots, where I'd rather have more powerful draw, like the rest of the draw you have. Plus your general is all about card draw, so you really shouldn't be worrying about that too much.

Are Forbid, Commandeer and Rewind good in EDH? Rewind seems a bit pointless (what am I untapping for? another counter?).
What do I want to hit withCommandeer? Aren't there other cards that are cheaper?

The reason Commandeer is good is because you should have plenty of cards to pitch for it, same with Force of Will & Foil. These free counterspells also help to protect Azami and since she is basically the engine that drives the deck she needs to be protected as much as possible. Forbid is excellent as you should have plenty of cards to pitch for the buyback. Rewind is another basically free counter. I'd probably throw in a few more utility wizards as well, Voidmage Prodigy is a serious pain to deal with.
Barrin, Master Wizard, Glen Elendra Archmage, Patron Wizard, Sower of Tempatation, Vendilion Clique, and Voidmage Prodigy(like Donald said) are all excellent wizards that would help the deck. There are a few sub-optimal choices that you're running that I noticed(like the ppl said in the previous posts) Vendilion Clique is especially good in this deck, because you really need to get rid of some stuff that people might be playing(like Obliterate) that would completely wreck your deck.
i am running an azami deck with slightly subpar wizards currently however my counterspell suite is pretty much as good as its gonna get without spending 100's of dollars on it. Honestly this is my favorite deck and I have playtested it alot, you don't need non azami card drawing, really you don't. having between 20-30 counterspells is a must however as these make up the core of what your deeck can do.

those are a good counterspell base to start with also I would wonder why nullmage adept isn't in their and I would also put in that having 1 cost wizards is very nie even if they are bad ones. The more flash you have is the better even if you have to use bad cards.You have lots of very good cards in there but other than azami there is not much synergy. You also want at least 40 land because getting to 5 is soooooooo crucial on turn 5. I apologize if I sound a bit overbearing these are jsut my thoughts.

I would definately run other draw spells other than Azami. Your current card draw base seems fine to me IMO, but I would maybe squeeze in room for Thirst for Knowledge somewhere. It's probably one of the best blue card drawers ever printed.
Other than that, Azami will be the card that is your primary engine. That's why she's your general. Remember, she doesn't have summoning sickness with her ability, so you can start drawing cards immediately. This really helps you getting away with not having to play as much draw as blue EDH decks usually do.
HOLY CRAP!! I never noticed that Thirst for Knowledge was an instant! I always thought it was a sorcery... I'll look for room for that too, despite needing to cut cards >.<
I just noticed that you aren't playing Memnarch. He is pretty much an auto-include in almost every blue deck. He breaks games wide open if your opponents can't stop him quickly.

Azami can also tap him to draw, since he is a Wizard.

I'd also cut Library of Leng and just put in Reliquary Tower if you need infinite hand size. Also Gauntlet of Power might be unnessecary. I'd swap Feldon's Cane out for Tormod's Crypt or Relic of Progenitus.
And personally, I might be iffy on Dissipate, Last Word, and Counterspell. Maybe Forbid, Rewind, Spelljack, they pack a bit more of a punch.

The reason Commandeer is good is because you should have plenty of cards to pitch for it, same with Force of Will & Foil. These free counterspells also help to protect Azami and since she is basically the engine that drives the deck she needs to be protected as much as possible. Forbid is excellent as you should have plenty of cards to pitch for the buyback. Rewind is another basically free counter. I'd probably throw in a few more utility wizards as well, Voidmage Prodigy is a serious pain to deal with.
If you're running Gauntlet of Power, you might as well add Extraplanar Lens. Then you can go infinite with Palinchron. If you decide to go that route, I would add Braingeyser and Ambassador Laquatus to give you instant wins.
Also, since you're already running Beacon of Tomorrows, you can add Planar Portal to get infinite turns.
