I dunno, I have always wanted to try building a Rafiq deck, because it seems to be really explosive and fun to play. I had the spare time and was bored enough, so I actually got to it.
It's nothing special, RafiQ geared for duels. Some disruption and a bunch of good creatures, all powered by doublestriking goodness.
The Sage is occupied with the unspoken
and acts without effort.
Teaching without verbosity,
producing without possessing,
creating without regard to result,
claiming nothing,
the Sage has nothing to lose.
Might I suggest Cephalid Constable, if you can connect with Rafiq in play you pretty much win the game. I once lost to a Rafiq player who used Elspeth to give his constable +3/+3 and flying with Rafiq in play, a 5/5 flying double-striking constable = sad times for your opponent :). Also Cold-Eye Selkie can be quite the beating.
I wanted Mycoid Shepherd because he's cool. I understand the point of him not being needed, and I'll replace him with Cephalid Constable, because that is a card I totally forgot even existed.

Cephalid Constable + Might of Oaks = Evil laugh.
I'll also add 1 Cephalid Coliseum, because it is awesome.
