So this deck uses Sedris as a combo enabler, more or less, along with other creatures and Arcane cards to **** opponents up with Ire of Kaminari, including Dralnu, Lich Lord and Djinn Illuminatus. I play this deck in my multiplayer EDH group, which may explain some of my card choices (Syphon Mind).
First, the list:
Abusing the interaction between Splice onto Arcane and Djinn Illuminatusis just ridiculous.
A Reach Through Mist with Hideous Laughter spliced on, and be a devastating board wipe with enough blue mana, and that's just one option. Throw in Glacial Ray and Soulless Revival and everyone at the table's head will explode.
No Traumatize? Seems like you could either use it to dump a gigantic load of your dredge/spirits/reanimation targets in the yard or use it to gank an opponent.
Very interesting idea. But there are a couple other cards you might consider to help with that extra oomph that the arcane spells sometimes seem to lack. Sometimes, nothing is as good as a well placed Damnation. Your general can help you return creatures so it doesn't hurt you quite as much. Also, Mystic Tutor is another way to find an answer you need. Similarly, Petals of Insight is an amazing card since you can dig to the card you need. Since you have Threaten, you could consinder Blind with Anger. I can't steal generals, but does up your arcane numbers. Choice of Damnations is a pretty nice card as well and can keep some of the more explosive (ie token) decks in check and Horobi's Whisper is reusable creature kill with all your arcane. I'm sure you've probably considered most of these already, but I think they will help out regardless.

The deck builds up its graveyard with dredge, and cards like Idea Unbound, Murmurs from Beyond and Dampen Thought.
Dralnu, Lich Lord, Spellweaver Volute, and Toshiro Umezawa all allow replaying spells from your graveyard, and Izzet Chornarch brings one back for you to play (also, has amazing synergy with Soulless Revival.) All of these, as well as the Djinn Illuminatus, can be reanimated by Zombify or Gravedigger, which can be found via Fleshwrither, Clutch of the Undercity, and Dimir House Guard.
