Just starting to get into EDH with some folks in my play group and I've started to build a mono white deck with Konda, Lord of Eiganjo as my general. Now I'm aware that mono color is a bit less than optimal, but that's OK, I've a more brutal Sharuum deck when I want to notch up the power and Konda himself is pretty cool to play with. So, to that end, what sorts of cards do you think would work really well in a Konda deck? Should I be playing more aggressively via the excellent white aggro dudes or lean on the exceptional number of white creature sweepers? I've also thought about using the various Flicker Effects as counter spells for my Bigs (when opponents try to kill them) and to protect them from sweeps (even my own).
At any rate, I'd appreciate some ideas here and I'll post a proposed list after I've heard some of your thoughts. Thanks in advance.

One way to go on this is the flying token aspect: Sacred Mesa, Storm Herd, Spectral Procession and then throw in as many creature pumping enchantments as well as creature pumping creatures and then Mirror Entity. Keep a way to bring your enchantments back from the graveyard and maybe search them out (Idyllic Tutor) and then the white Planeswalkers.
I think Wrath of God and the endless weaker versions of this work well. Abuse Konda's industructibility. I think he works great in a Mono W control deck, should work very well. There's tons of cards to run, run tons of Wrath effects, and for some cool stuff you could run Culling Stone or Porphyy Nodes will make it imposible to stick a creature with 3 or less power on the board ^^.
Also, make sure to throw in Equipement life Sword of Fire and Ice and Quietus Spike. THe only problem with Konda is that while he's impossible to stop, 3 damage a turn aint much. Loxodon Warbhammer on him makes him pretty much unblockable, if they wanna chump he just gets huge lol. Quietus Spike makes them have to chump, they cant let him through. Konda likes equipment.
Also, for Mono white control, run Aurification. A pet card of mine. Nobody wants to attack you ^^.
As far as equipment, Mellow is correct, Konda loves equipment. Just one more he didn't mention that I feel belongs in this deck. Worldslayer seems absurd with Konda, unless I've read it wrong, it seems like a win card.
Wow, Worldslayer and Konda seem like a real beating. I'm tempted to make this deck because that would be a fun little combo to pull off.
Stonehewer Giant should be in there to get Worldslayer out and equipped for basically nothing. 1W to destroy everything but my guy and his sword? Yes please!
I would run it as a control deck, too. Stall stall stall. Then aim to just win with General damage rather than doing 40 damage.
Good thoughts so far. I do think that the deck would be more intriguing (to me) as a control deck since as MellowMight pointed out, there's more synergy with the general that way. How does this sound:
CREATURES
About 15-18 since for the most part, Konda will be doing most of the whuppin' for you. These other dudes should be A) Real Beaters themselves OR B) Good defenders OR C) Quality toolbox guys (Preacher, Adarkar Valkyrie)
Since the deck will be leaning on Konda (and a few other White heavy hitters) to do the heavy lifting, what do you think about going down to as few as 13 or 14 creatures?
SWEEPERS
Maybe as many as 8-9 of these?
CREATURE CONTROL
About 10 of these I'd guess, including some that are permanents like Maze of Ith and Icy
MANA ACCELRATION
Maybe 6-9 of these? You really want to see these early so that the Big Bad Samurai can come to play early.
DEFENSE, UTILITY, & TRICKS
16 of these including some equip options, maybe Crusade, Glorious Anthem, Gauntlet of Power. I like the white PWs as well. Safe Haven and Tawnos's Coffin are nice bits that you can rescue some of your guys with before you ***. The lack of card drawing has been somewhat missing. Mind's Eye alone just doesn't seem to be enough.
LAND
I'd guess about 38 would suffice given your artifact mana, Land Tax, Weathered Wayfarer , and other such. You might even go as low as 35.
coming up with ways to draw cards in mono-white will certainly be a challenge. Mind's Eye is an auto-include. i use Scrying Sheets + snow mana base in my Raksha deck (then you get to use Mouth of Ronom, too).
i guess you will just have to accrue card advantage in other ways (read: wrath effects)
Related question, is Momentary Blink legal in an all White EDH deck? I'm assuming the buyback cost would not preclude its inclusion.
i'm afraid it isn't allowed. if an "offending" mana symbol appears anywhere on the card, it can't be used. these are the official rules, anyway; ask the people you play with (my group, for example, lets people put the Bringers in decks that aren't five colors).
I'd run a bit more then 10 creature control cards. Having a ton of "Kill Attacking Creature" (Condemn, ;Devouring Light, etc etc, you can Magiccards.info search them) makes people really not wanna attack you. You kill an attacking creature a few times and people will quickly leave you alone.
Thanks for all the help so far. Just to update, I've been playing the deck quite a bit over the past couple of days, and loaned it to a buddy for a couple of games last night. It is a very fun deck to play with and is more robust than it might seem. It's strength is in its defensive capabilities. I've still got quite a few cards to collect for it since most of EDH staples are singletons and happen to be in my other EDH deck. I'll post a list a bit later today.
Kor Haven is nice, inexpensive way to stop people from coming at you with their general. I agree you should play both Icy and Scepter (I do in my 5cHorde of Notions deck). Definitely include Martial Coup and maybe even some indestrucible creatures like Darksteel Gargoyle. The group I with uses a lot of remove from game effects so indestrucible doesn't do much against that, but at least you won't be blowing up your creatures with your own mass removal. As far as consistent land drops and deck thinning goes, play Endless Horizons (what a way to thin a deck!). That being said, stuff like Oblivion Ring, Story Circle, and Faith's Fetters can keep you alive, and Idyllic Tutor and Enlightened Tutor can fetch them. I'd kind of be concerned with how much your general costs, so your mana acceleration should add more than 1 mana (i.e. Darksteel Ingot is not so great for you because you're mono colored, but Thran Dynamo is great and Gilded Lotus is just another 2 extra mana for one card (i.e. a land is 1 for 1, that gives you 3 mana for 1 card). I would suggest staying away from the Marble Diamond and such. As for group game goodness, play Mother of Runes, Auriok Champion, and Soul Warden... you could even try to gain a bunch of life to make Storm Herd be more effective, however you wouldn't have much of a way to search it out other than Planor Portal. If you want to run Ranger of Eos, other 1 drops suggested are: Martyr of Sands, Leonin Elder (every deck uses artifacts), Ghost-Lit Redeemer, and Burrenton Forge Tender (which can stop a lot of generals, but unfortunately Godo's equipment gives him trample). Good luck!
I will always play second sunrise in any white EDH deck for those times someone does manage to blow up your board and you don't have Konda in play and someone gets off a an Obliterate etc.

as for the artifact acceleration, i'd also use Sol Ring, Coldsteel Hearth, Mind Stone, Worn Powerstone, Grim Monolith (if you can get it; Basalt Monolith is ok, too), and maybe Thran Dynamo.
also, Enlightened Tutor is a must, Steelshaper's Gift is fantastic, and if you're going to be using token producers, then i must recommend Skullclamp.

Exactly, but I thought I might play w/ both of them.

but there are still all kinds of mono-white blink effects: Flickerwisp, Otherworldly Journey, Liberate, Astral Slide (sort of), Ghostway and the king of blink effects, Parallax Wave.
