There are lots of five color lists with various strategies in KingChewie's deck database at the top of this subforum. It's a great resource, and very well done.
Relying entirely on control is a bit more difficult in a group game (which is primarily what EDH is, though some play 1v1). However, if that's what you're going for, I would start out focusing on blue (duh), then black (for the tutor/kill spells) and green (for mana accel).
Honestly, Child of Alara is a better 5 color general in my opinion. At least with him (her?) you have access to something that can act as a board sweeper. If you go that route, use lots of reanimation effects (because you have to send Child to the graveyard for the effect to work).
Maybe if you posted some more detail about the kind of strategy you have in mind it would be easier to suggest specific cards.
Well the general part isn't the problem, I just need ideas about good 5color control cards
like volcanic fallout, charms, ***, etc...
I would just go to the staples of each color and look at those cards. You'd probably want a lot of counterspells like Force of Will backed up with wrath effects, card draw, acceleration and spot removal in order to protect progenitus.
Don't expect to play Progenitus unless you have mana backed up for a counterspell. Once he hits the board, all hate will go onto you and projenitus might just die to a wrath effect, or worse Hallowed Burial

Progenitus is an extremely hard general to build around. His deck requires a tough balance of cards that can keep you alive and those that can cast him and others that can keep him alive.
Here are a couple easy to cast spells that I think might help you out.
I'd recommend cutting Obelisks. I'd avoid gold spells (except maybe Dauntless Escort), use single hybrid stuff and probably lean the deck towards green. Also, early game cards with double mana cost will hose you.
I know I want progentitus as my general, and basically I'll control the board until I can cast him.....
Any good card ideas?
Broodmate Dragon
Wall of Reference
Mulldrifter
Plumeveil
Wall of Denial
Kitchen Finks
Nucklavee
Cryptic Command
Esper Charm
Runed Halo

Hallowed Burial
Tidings
Any ideas?

Hope that helps, and welcome to EDH!
Cromat is a very versatile general.

If you want to see how to tag your deck, you can just quote this message and edit from there!
What kind of card pool are you working with? You seem to be going with mostly newer cards....did you only start playing recently?
The pyroclasm effects probably aren't going to be that useful in EDH as most creatures you'll encounter are rather big.
Thank you!
Yes I want to play with mostly new cards, because I just started playing, and I don't want to have to purchase old rare stuff:

So obviously thats a lot of jank, what should I cut out that's no good?

I'd recommend cutting Obelisks. I'd avoid gold spells (except maybe Dauntless Escort), use single hybrid stuff and probably lean the deck towards green. Also, early game cards with double mana cost will hose you.
For instance, I'd replace the GGEternal Witness with All Sun's Dawn and Allied Strategies.
Well said. IMO, it's the only 5-color general that you don't have to build around.
