I personally think Doran is bloody awesome. Swinging for ridiculous amounts of damage with creatures with 0 power is deeply satisfying to me. And I think there are some crazily broken synergies that other Doran decks haven't exploited (read: reveillark, shirei, shizo's caretaker and such like). Let me know your thoughts.
Some discussion of card choices: Treefolk Harbinger is spectacular. I usually get timber protector to protect Doran or even temple garden if i need lands. Oh, and he's a 3/3 for 1. Stonehewer giant is the nuts. Get slagwurm armor on doran and 21 general damage is almost hard to avoid. Shizo, death's storehouse also helps with getting Doran through. I know there's alot of enchantment hate, and that's because I once played against a Teysa, Orzhov Scion deck playing humility. That's bad. In general, though, this deck performs quite well. Beats are pretty much as bad as they come, and strong removal usually takes care of dirty combos.
Cut Chrome Mox. That kind of acceleration is not very good in EDH.
I advocate neither. Might doesn't do enough and Blessing is a 2 for one. Equipment's are more useful.
Re: Hierarch and accelerators, duly noted. Phyrexian arena and Citanul woodreaders are plenty of card draw though- I haven't felt a need for more. Chrome mox has actually been great so far, so I'm keeping that. Might of the Nephlim is also clutch- if Doran is unblocked, it's 6 extra general damage and often the game. A weaker version that's permanent isn't so hot.
Re: loxodon warhammer. you're joking, right? +3/+0 with Doran? Fire and Ice is probably worth it, but like I've said I don't usually feel short of cards. And it certainly doesn't always get through to the player. Jitte/Behemoth sledge/Slugwurm are all things I'd rather have.
Re: Wrath of god Maybe it'd be useful sometimes, but those occasions haven't happened much yet. I usually own the board with straight muscle- its the removal that usually kills me, not a board disadvantage.
edit: Oblivion ring has been good so far since walkers are often the biggest threats. But it is a liability and rootgrapple sure does look good.

As for card draw. Personally, I feel as if it is one of the most important elements of EDH as having a large amount of card draw is amazing. If you're not sold on card draw then at least replace Citanul Woodreaders with Mind's Eye because Mind's eye is a permanent source of card draw that costs less to play than Citanul and can net you far more cards over the span of the game.

Eh, im not sold on the pumping aggro right out of the gate. For the first thing, most EDH is in multiplayer so if you over extend your self on turn one, you're probably not gonna win.

I think warhammer is expensive if its just for trample and lifelink, great as that is. I already have pridemage in there, btw, and yes hes great. Maelstrom pulse is going in because of tokens, yes. I was thinking about wilt-leaf, but then thought Tolsimir wolfblood would be basically a better wilt-leaf at 1/8 the price.
@funkmu: about the card draw, point taken. Very much taken, in fact. I like those woodreaders, so I'll keep them, but I think I'll find a spot for Mind's Eye as well. In multiplayer matches I think you're right that more card draw is better than less... there are far too many nasty enchantments or artifacts that are going to need answers, and when you have 3 opponents dishing them the drawpower will be massively important. Thx for the idea.

I'd run more board sweepers like Wrath of God and Damnation. Where's [card = Maelstrom Pulse]Echoing Vindicate[/card]?
I'd cut Might of the Nephlim and some of your random creature acceleration like Boreal Druid, Fyndlehorn Elder etc for more solid accelerators like Kodama's Reach, Explosive Vegetation and Reap and Sow and Krosan Tusker
You should also consider more card draw like Yavimaya Elder, Necropotence and Mind's Eye.
Finally, I'd add to your equipment toolbox with things like
Sword of Light and Shadow
Sword of Fire and Ice
Loxodon Warhammer
Cut Chrome Mox. That kind of acceleration is not very good in EDH.
