Hello everyone and welcome to the Inaugural EDH tournament take two. The first try hit a bit of a bump, so I'm here to help in any way I can to get this event running!
The event will be run using league rules(no two generals the same), Contenders may also not have another players general in their deck. Aside from that, the rules are the same as normal EDH rules(found here).
Please, feel free to ask me any questions you may have via PM. I want to keep the thread nice and neat so I will request that people post only once saying their general and interest.
I'll repost viberunner's original rules.
#1 In MWS you absolutely must not, ever, click an opponent Contender's card, move it, or adjust any text, put or change counters on it, including damage counters, or anything else. This includes tokens. You must keep your clicking entirely in your half of the screen. Click nothing belonging to an opponent. This eliminates 90% of all MWS in-game crashes. If an opponent forgets to change a value on their token/card, askthem to do it in the chat session.
#2 As a friendly, no-prize, no-ranking tournament I'm hoping for honesty and fair-play. If you see a glitch - say so!
#3 Each match will be the first game of loading of MWS, the program can start to get glitchy/crashy "a few games in" into netplay. This particuarly applies to changes of decks in the same session. If you have any problems, do not just exit the card table but exit the card table and exit MWS program fully, then restart the program, and then reconnect.
#4 All games must be recorded in logs by each Contender. Logs only have to be submitted in the event of dispute.
#5 All games should uses Phases. MWS etiquette includes:
(start) When an opponent enters End My Turn, use CTRL+ENTER to take control of your turn. (during) During your turn use CTRL+SPACE (or click) to advance phases. (end) At the end of your turn click End My Turn, but let the opponent take control of switching to their turn.
Informal, obvious, normal rules of MTG apply. Feel free to click End My Turn in your First Main Phase, for example, to keep things running smoothly. Of course an opponent gets to respond to any of the phases you informally skipped. I'm not going to teach you to how suck lollypops.
#6 NEW: After a General has been cast for the first time, and each time thereafter, click the "colourless mana" icon twice, incrementing it by 2. This will help remind you of subsequent casting costs. If you planned to use the colourless mana icon for complicated mana pools, use another icon (and let the opponent know), and if that's not possible create a token and set a note on it.
#7 NEW: Build your decks with 99 cards, excluding the General. Place the General into the Sideboard. At the start of the game go to the menu View, then My Sideboard..., and drag your General onto the desktop. Then drag your General into the RFG zone or to the far-right of the screen; just be clear when your General is and is not in play.
#8 Please use informative, concise text in the chat box, particually if something is going wrong. Arrows and jiggled icons do not register in the log!
#9 I would prefer it if disconnected games are replayed, because it would be nice to have real results. If someone is losing, disconnects, and cheating is suspected, logs can be forwarded to me for consideration. One disconnection on 5 health is unfortunate, two is a pattern.
#10 This is a for-fun Tournament. Good sportsmanship and good humour are appreciated from all Contenders.
#11 You will need an MSN or AIM account to co-ordinate games.
MWS is glitchy and there's no perfect way to play. I hope these suggestions sound reasonable. If you have any preferences or ideas, please PM me, or use your post in the thread. (Please keep yourself to one post).
Since the last thread got a little confused toward the end, and some people signed on with the same general, I would like to have everyone still interested in participating repost your general. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

So, you mean Salvation users all over the place will burn their computers in attempt to prevent the forums from collapsing, and eventually, one of you will sacrifice himself and change the nature of the internet forever?
I'll put my name for Azami, Lady of Scrolls, but if anyone else wants it, PM me because I've never used MWS before and there's a good chance I'll bow out.
im away from friday till sunday, but might be able to pull it off sunday evening, or I'll take it on monday. I guess that there is a few days between each round so everyone has enough opportunities to finish their match?

Okay, since sign ups have slowed down, I'll close the sign ups Saturday night. Than I'll post the pairings Sunday morning/afternoon at the latest. You will all have a week to play your games and report back to me.

Does starting the tournament this Sunday work for everyone? I think that would be a good time to close sign ups at least.
