I've looked up some decklists here from the past few years and got some ideas together, just looking to bring the deck together.
My meta is generally slow, except one person who likes to target me and one other person, and his decks typically ramp up very quickly, so not sure what I should do about that specifically.
This is what I picked up today, and I'm looking to see where to go from here to improve it.
The main cards I'm looking at are the big boys, Kozilek, Butcher of Truth, Ulamog, The Infinite Gyre, Emrakul, The Aeons Torn, and Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger. Other big boys that look potentially good but not sure where/how some of these would fit in the deck.. Not opposed to making the deck a bit bigger, my groups decks tend to run about 70-75 cards strong, but I know there's a lot to be gained from the consistency in 60. The other big guys I was looking at are Void Winnower, World Breaker, and Oblivion Sower.
Definitely adding in the Emrakul, and then there's a few other cards I'm unsure about. Do I add 2 more All is Dust and 2 more Eldrazi Temple?
Are Eldrazi Mimic or Matter Reshaper good enough to make the cut? I definitely want to add at least one Eye of Ugin, and one Arcane Lighthouse.. And then also wondering if Expedition Map would make the cut somewhere.
Let me know what you guys think and where to go from here with this deck.
Do the Thespian Stage's substitute well for the Vesuvas? I'd like to get 4 at some point but 4 of those break the budget a little bit haha.
Why the Sylvan Scrying over the Crop Rotation out of curiosity? I would think Crop Rotation would be better simply because you get to instantly have a cloudpost ready for next turn.

They're fairly interchangeable, you could try both and see which you prefer. Saccing a land is a real cost so Scrying is slightly better in slower metas that favor longer games. I like Scrying because you're always happy to see it whereas the 3rd Rotation can be rough at times.
Alright cool good to know. I'll keep that in mind and try both out separately and see which one fits my tables meta better.
Also looking at the list you posted more - I assume the Worn Powerstone is just a budgeted version of Sol Ring?
Final question on my mind right now, if I were to go above a 60 card deck list akin to what you posted, say with just a few more random eldrazi creatures, would it be worth touching the mana base at all to compensate or no? I feel like it's almost not necessary because of how the locus lands work but i'm not sure haha.

Budget version of Grim Monolith. If you're legally allowed to play with cards like Mana Crypt, Mana Vault and Sol Ring then you should definitely add them. If you can play with 4, add 4. If you can play with 1, add 1. Etc.

I don't advocate playing more than 60 cards. I also don't advocate adding additional expensive spells without also adding lands to compensate. Still, I mostly don't advocate playing more than 60 cards as it decreases your probability of drawing Cloudposts which has a significant impact on the deck's ability to function.
Amulet of Vigor speeds up the Cloudposts. With Primeval Titan, the lands come into play tapped and untap once for every amulet in play (yes, it stacks !)...3 amulets, Cloudpost untaps 3 times when coming into play...generating a lot of mana. You can use Phyrexian Metamorph to copy the amulets or the Thran Dynamo.
If you use your 4 mana to cast a dynamo, then tap the dynamo for 3 to copy it with Phyrexian Metamorph and tap the dynamo copy to copy it again with another Phyrexian Metamorph, you went straight from 4 mana to 13 mana in one turn.
I used to play Staff of Domination in this deck but I moved them to another deck since this one is already very strong even without the staff.
The Steely Resolve prevents my opponents from taking control of my Eldrazis and make then harder to deal with.
Thanks for the list, some interesting ideas in here I might incorporate into this deck, especially that steely resolve.. One of the players at the table runs a royal assassin deck quite regularly, so that would prevent him from just killing my creatures repeatedly which is awesome. Thanks for all the ideas guys always appreciated.
Another option is to build a twelve-post plus some color mana base.
And then run 24 early and midgame cards in one theme and the Eldrazi (including the Conduit) and maybe two sweepers as your 12 late game cards.
(Like Austere Command or Decree of Pain)

My own recent try was with scarecrows (think Scarecrone, Shapesharer and Reaper King) and some Phyrexian Metamorphs...
My meta: 3 or 4 player free for all, anything goes but boring games or broken decks cause a vote to end that game.
