So this is the general idea after pulling out all the fat, and putting back what I want. Sunscorch Regent might get back in, it's not a bad card after all.
Anything else that could fit in here that I should try? (Please note, I don't like *You win the game* type cards)
How about Waves of Aggression?
And maybe more ways to gain life out of turn?
Mass pump might be nice.
I like Waves, and the retrace mechanic generally, use it in a couple decks.
Cards I've had in there in the past includeTrue Conviction, which could definitely find a place.
I used to have a set of Phyrexian Metamorph in here to double horse-force, or to copy whatever else. I actually have a full set of bojack, so I may go that way again. Saying that, Loxodon Warhammer is always good too.
At the high end Soul of Theros has blown out a few games for me...
Midrange Jazal Goldmane rules.
At lower mana there are anthems etcetera, and... drumroll... Mirror Entity.
Unfortunately, the best upgrades for the Soul Sisters archetype are not cheap. Wurmcoil Engine, Serra AscendantArchangel of Thune and Alhammarret's Archive are four cards I would consider playing but if you don't already have them. The "I win" cards are quite cheap in comparison. I don't know if you consider Aetherflux Reservoir to be "I win" or not, but obviously, in a dedicated deck, it can crush a table.
Splashing black isn't cheap anymore either since karlov of the Ghost council is now in the same price range as the cards above
I missed out on karlov of the Ghost Council myself as I was hoping to turn my version of the deck into an Orzhov version

Soul of Theros isn't one I've seen in play anywhere, reminds me of Valor, Glory etc.
Good ole Mirror Entity, I had a singleton in here last time around given it works with Austere Commands' last mode.

.... karlov of the Ghost Council
Yeah you're dead right. Auriok Champion is another to add to that list. I try not to spend big money on multiplayer cards, I save my budget mainly for competitive formats.
Karlov (especially) & Thune are the two I would love to add, but I missed out on them. I got lucky with Resplendent Angel, traded for them after a recent Standard draft meet.

How has Resplendent Angel been? Card seems like an interesting mana dump later in the game. Has the three toughness been an issue for you?
For anyone interested in new budget additions to the deck try 1-2 copies of Dawn of Hope. It's kinda dorky but it's a decent mana sink that allows the deck to attack on a couple of different angles. It tends to be of your best cards against Control which can otherwise thrash you with mass removal backed by card draw.
Funny you should mention this one.
I've seen this across the table from me a few times (in standard games). Creatures sweeps really mess with this deck, so this makes a lot of sense. I like it. I'll give one or two a try.

To be honest, I haven't even played with the card against my friends yet, but I know what you're suggesting.
Being 3-cmc, it works with Sun Titan & Austere Command. Wait and see.
Sun Droplet is a very dangerous card in multiplayer to begin with. Just having a single one out complicates combat math and frustrates opponents--very trolly card. But, if you manage to get more than one out at a time, killing you with damage suddenly becomes very hard to do.
However, as good as it already is here, Sun Droplet takes Crested Sunmare to the next level, in my experience. Not sure how deep you wanna go on Sunmares here but the two are practically made for eachother.
Okay, so some feedback after the weekend mtg with some friends.
Resplendent Angel was actually better than I thought.
I was surprised how often I had spare mana to dump into it. I thought this card would be a removal magnet.... but that might change.
I dug up a couple Sun Droplet and chucked in another Crested Sunmare(yes I love this interaction too), together with a couple Phyrexian Metamorph to round out the deck. I will probably cut an Angel for another Metamorph, 3 of each.
One thing I found with this deck;
Sunmare is a removal magnet. Duh Hello baiting a sweeper or targeted removal. Metamorph helps this somewhat.
Having the Angel as a lesser-threat enabled me to still create a board without baiting out sweepers. At least this night anyway.
Glad Resplendent Angel worked out for you I actually went ahead myself and picked up a second Crested Sunmare and I am going to run a 2/2 split with Archangel of Thune this weekend (stay tuned for the update). While I love Thune, the biggest issue is she can feel lackluster if you don't have an army to pump, unlike Sunmare who can at least start rebuilding your army. With my luck I will likely draw them opposite of when they would both shine the most...but I digress.
Did the Sun Droplet work out? I mean the interaction is obvious, but did you find that this helped to shore up any weaknesses with the deck which is clearly overextending into wrath effects. I remember running the card in the past with Thune and probably took it out to make room for a new card I wanted to try and then forgot about it.
Resplendent Angel is a card I've been looking forward to abusing.
After trimming the fat from my Soul Sisters deck, this is where I'm at;
4 Myriad Landscape
4 Emeria, the Sky Ruin
4 Soul Warden
4 Soul's Attendant
4 Ajani's Pridemate
2 Rhox Faithmender
2 Crested Sunmare
3 Sun Titan
2 Authority of the Consuls
4 Well of Lost Dreams
3 Austere Command
So this is the general idea after pulling out all the fat, and putting back what I want.

My meta: 3 or 4 player free for all, anything goes but boring games or broken decks cause a vote to end that game.
