I'm an old magic player (Beta - Weatherlight) who got back in a couple years ago playing exclusively multiplayer (usually 4, occasionally 5 and rarely 6 player), and I was hoping to get some feedback/help on some decks. My meta is fairly aggressive (if you're open, you're getting attacked) with a decent amount of interaction, and medium budget.
If I were building and Assault Formation deck I would go all in on the defenders. Ditching most of your current creatures for more walls, Wall of Frost, Axebane Guardian ect. And depending on your budget going into tri color ditching blue for Doran, the Siege Tower but this is way off the mark of your current deck. (In my opinion either Assault Formation doesnt fit, or the rest of your deck doesn't fit but I LOVE Assault Formation)
On the otherhand you have a Sphinx/flying tribal sort of thing going on. Not really sure what I would do in that respect. Let me know what direction youd like to go, defenders, Sphinx's or just very slight modification to this one and a rough budget, and i'd be happy to give you more suggestions in whichever direction you choose.

I am restricted to the modern legal card-pool. (Unless it's EDH)
I like that last list a lot as the rare deck that offers a powerful beatdown while also staving off other early aggressive decks to an almost comical degree. It does do absolutely nothing without Assault Formation though... Perhaps Muddle the Mixture would be appropriate, as it tutors for half the deck as well as the critical card, and can counter a Wrath if necessary? Also, since the deck has effectively no 1-drops it is basically a free-roll to put in a few Ponder or Preordain effects to smooth draws and dig for Formation/Tetsuko. As a final note, Wall of Tanglecord and Wall of Junk are nice beaters in addition to the ones Prid3 listed.
