I found Geist of Saint Taft to be lackluster unfortunately and was cut for Grand Arbiter Augustin IV who works better, but makes me more of a target. thinking of removing it for more wrath effects.
Im starting to see the issue with single targeted removal, Disenchant and detention sphere. However I do like playing police with the politics of four player and taking out the biggest threat to get the others on my side, so not sure if I should leave them in or replace them.
Narset Transcendent is just a planes walker I had laying around, it feels quite lackluster although card draw is card draw. The rebound effect usually is just another wrath, but if she lasts to ultimate its game over.
I really like the Brisela, Voice of Nightmares as a finisher, not willing to budge on that. Mind Control and Phyrexian Rebirth are not the best cards in the deck although they have won their fair share of games after a stalled bored state, or someone elses crazy threat. White Sun's Zenith has also won a few games that have stalled out after a wrath or two.
So what would you change to make this less 1v1 and more multiplayer restricted to the modern legal cards?
Forgo Serenity and add Luminarch Ascension. Your removal becomes weaker but you gain access to the most powerful 1-card win condition available to the archetype. Turn 2-3 LA into turn 4 *** is almost always a game win unless someone can remove it and when your curve is turn 2 LA turn 3 Grasp of Fate turn 4 Supreme Verdict you're not going to lose to many fair decks.
If you run enough legendary creatures and/or planeswalkers you could consider the new Urza's Ruinous Blast.
I always forget to mention that I am restricted to modern legal cards. So while grasp of fate would be sweet, I cannot play it. Return to dust dose seem strictly better than disenchant. Urza's Ruinous Blast Does seem cool, im not sure if the ~7 legendary's I have makes it playable though.

I am beginning to see how much a restriction modern legality is to the multiplayer format. Unfortunately my group is pretty set on that rule. So it seems that Path to Exile can replace a couple detention spheres.
Luminarch Ascension Does seem like a cool win con, a little worried it would encourage everyone to attack me if possible, causing the deck to shift to more of a pillow-fort theme, which im trying to avoid.
I would also argue that Riot Control Is only conditionaly worse than Congregate As its cast-able as a fog turn 3, stopping maybe 10 dmg from a temur battle raged Managorger Hydra and gaining 4 life. Congregate would only gain maybe 12 life casting it on the next turn. And late game when that hydra is 48/48 I think fogging the combat is a larger net gain. However there are a plethera of situations where Congregate is better, So im going to try a 2-2 split to see how they play out in my playgroup.
This deck is my take on a control deck for a FFA format with 3 opponents. It was adapted from my 1v1 U/W control.
2x Cyclonic Rift
1x Disenchant
4x Riot Control
1x Settle the Wreckage
4x Sphinx's Revelation
1x White Sun's Zenith
1x Phyrexian Rebirth
4x Supreme Verdict
Enchantment (5)
4x Detention Sphere
1x Mind Control
Creature (12)
2x Bruna, the Fading Light
3x Gisela, the Broken Blade
2x Grand Arbiter Augustin IV
2x Guard Gomazoa
3x Wall of Omens
4x Glacial Fortress
4x Hallowed Fountain
7x Island
9x Plains
Planeswalker (1)
1x Narset Transcendent

And I'd consider Grasp of Fate instead of Detention Sphere.

D-Sphere and Gomazoa are trash and should be replaced. You have some options for these:
Add Serenity and no other Enchs/Arts. Gives you access to a bonkers removal spell that carries no opportunity cost.
Forgo Serenity and add things like Planar Collapse and Grasp of Fate. Cards speak for themselves so I won't elaborate beyond that.

Some spot removal is fine but I would actually run Dismantling Blow over Disenchant. I don't mind Swords to Plowshares as a 1-2 of either. That being said I vastly prefer things like Planar Collapse and Grasp of Fate.
