I used to be "slave" here some time ago. The transition to twitch (and my super old computer) made it impossible to log in under that account, so here I am with a new one.
Okay, so one of my fave archetypes in MP, is the Clone deck. I have all the cards you would expect that like to copy without using the *target* keyword.
Typically, I'll chuck in around 8 to 12 clone-style creatures with something useful to get silly with.
Depending on what target I feel like building around will determine the rest of the deck.
I love this deck type for the flexibility of simply copying threats on the table, but the deck does need it's own threats to copy.
Thanks. A 6-drop (Regal Behemoth) is a little larger/later than I want to aim for.
Keiga looks cool, but same problem. That said, Keiga does enable some shenanigan's. I like shenanigan's Vizier of Many Faces could do some work with Keiga....
For something a bit faster, consider playing a Brago, King Eternal deck with Eerie Interlude and/or Ghostway. Cloneing a slew ETB triggers every turn is a ton of fun :). You can also do nasty things with mana rocks since A) Brago untaps them and B) Phyrexian Metamorph can copy them. So, for example, you can Thran Dynamo, tap it for Phyrexian Metamorph to copy the Dynamo, tap it for a spell and then attack with Brago to untap both. Also work with Basalt Monolith and Gilded Lotus. I 100% recommend going with Brago though since that card is a BEAST. I've started playing 4 in all of my decks that are White or Blue because I'll literally splash for that one card.
Both are great options(which I also own ;)). I don't usually run Image here simply because I regularly play with a group where I could expect to have my Image get targeted fairly routinely.
Oooooh. That's tasty looking. ETB triggers are king in quite a few decks, so that could be very useful indeed. Thanks!
Be aware though, that any returning Clone types cannot copy what is returning at the same time as them. So with Ghostway specifically, you'd have to rely mostly on another player's ETB critters. Of course, you can exile your clones with it and play an ETB critter afterwards to be copied when they return.

^ This. Apologies if that wasn't clear. The idea here is mostly that you're playing multiplayer and so other players almost always have relevant critters to target. As such you can typically afford to field all of these global effects that rely on the help of others. It's not 100% guaranteed or anything but I've personally never have any issues employing this type of strategy.

Previously versions have been based around Knight Exemplar & board wipes, Madcap Experiment with Platinum Emperion for example.
FYI, I purposefully avoid *I win* creatures like Biovisionary
What I'm looking for is a new idea - some new targets or plan to build the deck around.
Anyone have any cool idea's I might try out?
But there are of course a lot of options.
(Keiga, the Tide Star?)
My meta: 3 or 4 player free for all, anything goes but boring games or broken decks cause a vote to end that game.

Some number of Phyrexian Metamorph, Clever Impersonator, Stunt Double, Vizier of Many Faces & Rite of Replication are my go-to usually, but will depend on which other cards are in the deck. The madcap version excludes Metamorph for example.
I always include 4-6 draw (usually Rhystic Study &/or Trade Secrets), 4 Halimar Depths & Myriad Landscape in here too.
Gray Merchant of Asphodel, Kokusho, the Evening Star, Avenger of Zendikar and Tendershoot dryad are good cards to make a million copies of. I cant think of any creature with a lower mana cost that would be especially worth copying a lot...it might be too early in the morning atm ;P

I didn't even know Tendershoot exiested! Thanks for that.
Gary is kind of frowned upon in my group, just creates arguments.
