I'm planning on making this deck monarchy/kingdom themed, with mostly humanoid creatures. I'm having trouble deciding what to eliminated, add in, or which direction to go.
At the moment, it seems like the current direction would be to build up my monarchy and ascension for buffs, and then swing with creatures with melee or myriad (Unfortunately not many with myriad because I'm on a budget and the best equipment for myriad is $13 each).
Here is what I have so far, it's more of a list rather than a deck:
If I were you I’d stick with maximum three colors.
Probably those of Marchesa ‘cause she’s the queen theme.
That makes the mana managable and the choices slightly easier.
And then I’d try to build a deck according to my ‘rules, they’re more like guidelines’.
Post that and we can check it out.
Guidelines:
My standard layout for deck building is as follows:
24 lands
3x 12 cards ordered by casting cost: 0,1&2 and 3&4 and 5 plus
This guarantees that I hardly ever sit idle.
Depending on your opponents you must decide how much artifact/enchantment/land destruction you must run.
Also decide whether you need airdefense or creature-sweepers.

My meta: 3 or 4 player free for all, anything goes but boring games or broken decks cause a vote to end that game.
