Update! New banner also, later this week I should have finished more info for the front page, such as archenemy and planechase information. Been real busy to bare with me, and keep the activity coming!
This is the Affinity deck I use in group/ 2headed Giant.
You trade the quick boost of speed for the longtivity to stick around, It doesn't run Ravagers beacuse you get more raw power for Fatal Frenzy from Atog. (You wait for everyone's removal to run out before go for it.)
Tooth is in as it allows you to boost other players attacks trading where people didn't think they would.
Disaciple works great when someone at your table is playing Esper(my group has an Esper Control and we tend to team up against other people for this reason) It also alows you to threaten people who attack you.
The Double U on Boodstar causes problems early game but you shouldn't be casting them early game. They also wreck with Fatal Frenzy.
With Drum + Star you have ample mana fixing to cast them late game.
One of my favorite things to do with this deck is to attack with booth an Atog and Broodstar and Buff the fatal in my hand, this causes people to make horrible trades.
I once had a 2 headed giant game where my partner played one spell total (terror) and we won. Yes the other team had good decks (Esper Control and Elves)
that is strange, I could have swore I replied to the affinity deck.
Well to your affinity deck, I think Rupture could be one hell of a finisher :), not to mention Fling on a single target level. I just don't know how to keep the deck from killing you though.
Gotta test that and see how much it makes my playgroup hate me.
Rupture is more my style though (I've 3 way tied a game with a hurricane before. I don't care so much about me winning as long as I can make a person lose :))
You know what, I saw a combo recently that I think is absolutely great for multiplayer. I play mostly multiplayer currently, so I am always busy looking out for combos for it. Combo I saw is Thrashing Wumpus with Charisma . How nice is that?? Some of the guys a play against have mean Sliver decks, others have mean Exalted, and Elf decks. Can't wait to compile the deck!
Another deck that I'm currently working on (also for multiplayer) is the Seedborn Museand Isochron Scepter combo. I have a thread for it under Casual.
Anyway, just thought I'd share my ideas over here.
Would it be possible for this to be stickied? Seems to me like something important enough to warrant sticky-goodness. Multiplayer is a fairly big part of most players' casual experience.
My old multiplayer Megrim deck ran blue as well. Recoil is really funny once you rape someone's hand. Mostly the blue was for Lore Broker. Easy way to keep the punishment coming, even when they empty their hands. Blue also opens the door for Propaganda and Frozen Aether as control elements. Another good card to keep people off of you in multiplayer in black is Hissing Miasma.
I found that dropping a turn 2 Liliana's Caress into a turn 3 Megrim tends to put a big target on your back. So instead I worked on building a wall around myself and letting everyone else beat on each other, using bounce or creature kill to keep things even. Once everyone else's life totals were small enough, then I'd jump in and kill everyone with discard.
I mentioned this in another thread, and killem responded with far too much excitement for me not to post it here. I put together a multiplayer Armageddon deck that looked something like this.
Sometimes it is safest to hold back on the Land kill for a turn or two while stalling with critter removal. This is especially true if you can drop a Soulscour. To this end I could see pulling out a Boom // Bust for another Wrath. If your group has heavy artifact players, swap the Soulscours for Wraths.
Ok everyone, I added planechase and archenemy to the type, I added an article to learn where the basics of the card types evolved from, as well as a couple more articles that deal with more of the political side of multiplayer.

Yes indeed I was thrilled I've been wanting to make a deck like Kai Buddes worlds deck, that could destroy multiple people. I think your deck has recharged that idea. Though I still think Ghostly Prison type effects might be the most effecient or go into a blue white control deck so I could get Propaganda going, as well cards like Umbilicus to really put the hurt on., then again one could go green/white and Terravore your way to bulling people around
You could also go into a Planar Birth with Ankh of Mishra on the board, at that point, I think you're going to have to go into a little more work to protect yourself though. Which you could keep it mono white with a simple Angelic Curator and Pariah, or go straight to the Sphere of Purity
Veteran Explorer if you are more of a deceptive player, lure your opponents into a false sense of security.
The reason I like this version a lot though is, the lock down aspect, with the combination of sweeper/land destruction. Plenty of artifact mana to keep the temp up, and easy to keep the land destro flooding in.
I've run Bomberman in legacy, and it's a really nifty deck. I was wondering if we could do it for multiplayer? Instead of doing a combo kill, I think just control with re-usable toolboxes would be more fun.

The Propaganda effects is a good way to go, they have a lot of staying power when backed by land removal. I went the Wrath Geddon route to keep the ground clear for my Phyrexian Totems. If I put this deck back together at some point, I am taking your Wildfire tech all the way to the bank. That is far more efficient than Soulscour, or wiping lands one turn and creatures the next.
Okay, well not really the same deck but the same concept. I'm not very good at making these sorts of decks, so it's probably gonna need some work. Let it be noted that I really like Faerie Mechanist
Interesting, nice to see there are some infinite combos still floating around with realistically new cards.
Was just prepping a possible edh deck with my cards in my cube for next saturday, and I came across eye of the storm.
Couldn't eye of the storm be completely busted with Isochron Scepter + anything, while packing fogs and such, could really create a stupid stupid lockdown, or possibly throw in a couple Safe Passage.
I've played a variation of "Star" with five players that all play a mono-colored deck, one of each color. Sit in the same pattern as the back of the card and you win by taking out your two enemy colors.
It gives classic color dynamic (given people don't play artifact-heavy decks) with your friend colors helping to kill your enemies and really makes the color-hosers powerful.
Questions about Chaos magic:
-Do the decks need to be 60 cards, or could they be more (like 100?)
-Cards like Blood Tithe, are they legal? If so, would the person who rolled the die get the + effect?
-Which brings me to my next question, how do you typically decide the order of the die roll? Do you have a separate die roll from the turn order one? Do you go counterclockwise from the person who started?
EDIT: I'm thinking of doing only one copy of each card. Does anyone do multiple copies?

Sorry about getting all technical, but I want there to be no confusion when I start this
EDIT2:
This is the Artifact/Enchantment deck I'm looking to build, currently 16 cards short. Suggestions on what I can fill it with?
The size is just a guideline, it can be changed Standstill could work very well. Blood tithe is a harder spell to work with however because unless you decide to take turns rolling the dice and act as if "that" person is controlling the spell then you could.
Since the dice roll though is purely to see which stack is pulled from it doesn't matter who does it. If you start getting into cards like blood tithe then I would just start with who got the lowest roll at the start (when you determined who plays first) then go counter clock wise from that or something. There really isn't any wrong way there though.
I started playing Emperor games in 1vs1. 3 decks each. Hard to do but extremely fun.
As Emperor deck I'm using an high tide infinite mill/draw/oona's going bonkers/bounce and it's pretty solid. Can combo-out for victory on turn 3.
Now my question, what are the best "flanker" decks? Currently I'm using hypergenesis-eldrazi and the nirkana revenant deck that I've in my sig.
Edit: can we have this in the primers section? it was pretty useful
As far as that goes, the best flankers in your case would be high end control decks to delay the opponents so you can go off, while it isn't in the true nature of an emporer game that's how I would do it if my emp was a combo deck. otherwise, those flanks want to be aggressive and have an emp to keep pumping them.
