Basically its set up to counter as much as you can. Steal opponents creatures and have a few big ones of your own. Once you have enough mana up you can Comet Storm your opponents to death. The deck should be 70 cards since its for multiplayer and I don't want to deck myself.
I tried finding useful X spells but didn't come up with much. What would you do if you were building the same deck?
Edit: I was also thinking about maybe adding 2x Orcish Settlers
add the counterbalance combo with sensei's divining top. one of the best countering schemes I have seen. also with the divinging top you can toss out Soothsaying and treasure cove. If you want that card drawing mechanic, there is that new sphinx that grows when you use it and costs 1 less to activate. I suggest cards like wasteland and strip mine to get rid of ridiculous cards like dark depths.
and for x costing burn spells, use banefire seriously, its one of the best out there.
I think there's a lot better you can do than Mist Dragon and Mahamoti Djinn on the 6cc slot: Sphinx of Jwar Isle, for example. On top of Comet Storm something like Earthquake might be nice, it burns everyone out equally and kills most creatures but your own. Deathforge Shaman is very iffy, I think you have enough direct burn; if you don't, I'd play Lightning Bolt over him. Quicksilver Dragon may be good over Mist Dragon. Also, if you're booming with mana then Sphinx of Magosi will be great even if you get 2 or 3 card draws out of it before having it eat a terminate.

Soothsaying is nuts when each of your lands produce 2+. You just EOT look at the top 10 cards and set up whatever you need. Sensei's Top could never do that.
I don't see any Dark Depths combo in my group, but some stuff comes up like Maze of Ith which makes me want to run 2x Fissure.
Fissure is just bad. I realize there is a lot of manna floating around, but you would want to spend it on more interesting things. But eh, its your deck.

Buyback spells are awesome with Mana Flare. Capsize and Mind Games are probably my two favorites, especially because they respond very well to the threats your opponents will be playing thanks to the Flare. Either seem like they'd be superior to Fissure IMO.

My UR Mana Flare deck revolves around Prosperity and Runeflare Trap, as well as a variety of support cards like Conflagrate, Hammer Mage, and Echo Mage (among others) to get the job done.
While this deck does not win as often as I'd like, everyone has fun as they can cast whatever they draw, and I ensure they draw A LOT.
Lots of extra draw might result in the need for Terrain Generator to prevent discard. Terrain Generator then begs for Gush and Thwart.
