Now, here's the thing. I'm looking for cards that are good with accelerating green and red, in particular green cards.
Keep this in mind: I'm not willing to spend more then 5$ on a single card, and I'm a casual player.
I know I have one too many creatures as well, so which ones do you suggest I cut?
Seeing as its partly a devour deck, I'd prefer things that aren't too upset about having their head exploded.
If any of the dragons are out of your price range check out ebay from time to time and see if you can snag them at a deal. Also some should drop in price once they rotate out of Type 2. The cards I would get regardless of price are the Demonic Tutor and Sol Ring. These two cards are key to any casual players collection and both are in the range of about $5-$10 depending on condition.
Any Dragon tribal deck is incomplete without Kilnmouth Dragon. Even having just one dragon in hand when you cast it makes it flat-out scary, and having more than one usually makes it a game-ender. You need some more lands; 18 is way too few for a Dragon deck, even if you're using stuff like Temple of the False God. I'd suggest at least four more lands, and personally I'd add 6. Dragonspeaker Shaman is almost an auto-4 in mono-red versions; if you're going to exploit the green aspect of the deck more then you might not need it. For multicolored decks Zirilan of the Claw isn't half bad as it gets around mana costs at instant speed (bonus: it makes surprise Dragon Tyrant something your opponent has to play around). I'm kind of curious about some of your card choices; why are Stalking Vengeance and Magma Phoenix in there? You also need something to slow your opponent down, or that jerk who always plays elves will roll you before you can cast anything; something like Pyroclasm or Flamebreak can handle creature swarms with ease on the early turns. Last, Crucible of Fire is pretty much useless in an actual Dragon deck, since most of them should be large enough to end the game in 2-3 turns anyway; try something like Need for Speed or Mass Hysteria or even Lightning Greaves. Your deck becomes a lot more threatening when you're smacking your opponent in the head with that Shivan a turn earlier than they expected.

First things first:
AHAHA, me no can do Math. I want 20 lands in the deck. You says 22 though, I go with 22.
Moving on: No green, no Sarkhan? I was kind of hoping to get some green accelerators. I remember there being some form of elf out there that was "Tap, add one G to your mana pool, and Tap, add one mana of the color you chose when this came into play." Essentially it was to add the acceleration, allow me to get one or two devourers in, and Sarkhan. I play with a guy who loves counter spells, so I was also thinking of getting that elf that prevents counters.
Stalking Vengeance is in there for two reasons: To punish people when I decide to devour stuff, and in case any jerk happens to kill my dragons. The same reason for the Phoenix.
I should go Mono red, though. Hm...
If you says 4 Dragon Speaker Shaman, then I'll get them too. Killimouth dragon is just a weeeee bit rich for my blood, but I realize why: It kicks hide.

The lulz, man! The lulz are my point. I'm just being incredibly stupid.
Your deck suggestion is actually pretty good, but as I said I'm looking for more things. I'm also looking for green ways to keep my opponent from getting rid of my stuff, and acceleration. Adding black to the mix is nice for the Killspells, but I just want a bunch of angry dragons and people not ☺☺☺☺ing with them.
This is a rather interesting build I know.
Some of the spells could be dropped for more dragons if you have them, but I don't. So yeah.
I'm just going to use this build for now. Till I get more dragons.
I have tested it out, and as long as the lands cooperate it works fine.

I think I'm going to wait until Jund gets cycled out of Standard. As mentioned, the prices will probably go down, and since a lot of the dragons I'm looking at ARE Jund...it'll make life easier on my wallet. It also gives me time to think about what cards to get in replacement for my Fire Fury deck and to spot other cards laying around.
Also, as for why acceleration, quite simply cheating Dragons onto the field is freaking awesome, sure, but I still have to pay for the artifacts and the sooner I can do that the better. I'd also lke to play my giant dragons from my hand as soon as I can. Maybe just a Llaownar Elf or two. Just something to get the mana flowing in the beginning.
i would like to make a dragon deck and i usually dont play with big mana cost creatures (or atleast a deck full) so i was wondering if u guys may be able to help. I do have a budget of aprox. 60$ and am not looking to compeate with it( in tournaments) i found Dragonspeaker Shaman and was wondering if there were any more cards that make em' cheaper. im also trying to keep it mono red
Zirilin of the claw brings them out. crucible of fire makes them stronger. Check out the primer at the top of the page, ill bet it has something for it.

Solemn Simulacrum is good, as well as Wayfarer's Bauble. Worn Powerstone and Gilded Lotus also make for good ramping. And of course there are "diamonds" from sixth and seventh edition like Fire Diamond. There are oodles of way to ramp into them. Incidentally, for a solid mono-red list check my decklist from a couple pages ago - page 7 to be exact. That build still wins many games.

In the world of Casual, anything's possible! It would be exciting to see a dragon given bear-like strength (isn't that downsizing?) and suddenly being able to go over 9000 on your opponents as a result. Bear Umbra is just good in general because at the very least it will let you drop another dragon if it's enchanting anything else other than the Hellkite Charger.
This isn't the first R/G loop I've noticed - several years ago my friend put Aggravated Assault in his elf deck, and while he was adding mana in his head I said, "Hey I couldn't help but notice your Wirewood Channelers and your assault make infinite mana for a fireball. Or at least let you attack with your elves enough times to give me self-esteem issues."

Seven Knights gathered under a single banner, but soon came to learn one more would join their cause.
Since I first started playing MTG around Alliances/Mirage I figured I'd make a Mirage block dragon deck built around the 2nd-coolest dragon at the time: Viashivan Dragon. (The absolute coolest dragon from Mirage block is Catacomb Dragon, imo. But Viashivan is a more build-around-me type card).
On a side note, I'd be interested to see how Hellkite Charger + Bear Umbra works for people, even in casual games. Seems like an auto win if you drop Charger first, then Bear Umbra and Vines of Vastwood backup the following turn. Pretty cool!
Another side note, anyone have good results with Mordant Dragon? I pulled like 6 of em in my various packs (what can I say I have terrible luck) and he seems like a decent control creature.

If you read the the post above yours quoting my post on the page before this one, you will see i listed a bunch of stuff to cheat dragons into play on the cheap.
Dragon Control Suggested by Cecilia as a potential deck in um casual.
Intro: For a long time, I have always wanted to make a UR control deck that had all sorts of cool but big and vicious dragons that eat your opponents up in one swing. My casual metagame is full of creature decks like elves, merfolks, slivers, and vampires. So this deck I am about to show you actually beats those decks up because it plays burn, countermagic, and big freaking dragons!
Niv Mizzet: Of course I will play this dragon. He provides card draw as well as he's a great finisher.
Kargan Dragonlord: I like this since Dragonlord can be played on turn 2 even though he takes a billion of mana to level up he's still worth it in the late game as well.
Pardic Dragon: I love this dragon because suspend for less mana to play him a couple of turns later seems good in my book!
Shivan Dragon: I have always been a huge fan of shivan and I still think he's a solid finisher in my meta.
Shackles: The ability to steal creatures for defense or offense seems too good to pass up.
Electrolyze: Good against weenie creatures and good for reaching in for the last points of damage also a cantrip too.
Echoing truth: One of the best bounce spells there is in magic and for good reason too.
Into the roil: A cantrip and a bounce spell all in one seems quite versatile in this deck.
Mana Leak: A solid counterspell in the early going.
Lighting bolt: Of course, I don't think I need to say anything as this card is mandatory.
Fire/ice: Awesome all around and can get the job done in a tight games.
How to play this deck?
It's pretty straight forward. You bounce, counter, and burn anything in your path that is a threat to you then you just land a big dragon to swing for the win.
The manabase, is obvious pretty balanced but I am sure I can get some shivan reefs and/or steam vents sometimes. Although, I suppose the shivan reefs wouldn't work so well with shackles unless of course I replace the mountains instead.
I am open for any suggestions even though once again I am on a tight budget when it comes to magic.
This deck should be a deck to beat in my area in terms of casual.
There are better dragons for U/r. Spellbound dragon makes you lose card advantage, but it IS huge. Think of it as the opposite of Dark confident.
I like Rune Snag more than mana leak, because it is more relevant late game.
Vedalken shackles aren't powerful enough in this deck, methinks.
Well, I could swap out the shackles for firespouts actually since there are alot of tribal decks.
Yeah, unfortunately I don't have any spellbound dragons but I'll definitely look into your suggestions. I also agree on the Rune Snags but I have mana leaks and no rune snags. Thanks for the help.

I'd LOVE to see that pulled off. However, easily two-for-one'd all day long. This results in infinite attack phases, right.
