I think you should review the B&R list in your playgroup.
Not everyone is comfortable seeing 4 Demonic Tutor.
5 Reanimation targets are acceptable, see the Reanimators in Legacy, though it's now undecided whether 5-7 which is the optimum number.
Bazaar is good, if you know how to utilize it. Squee is the most common application to such a variant (the old BR version running bazaar, burning wish and zombie infestation).
As for lotus petal/dark rituals I would recommend chrome mox instead, and too much mana ramp might cause some issues, (also the old mono black reanimator during the urza extended with city of traitors might be worth a look).
As for black discard, why is cabal therapy not included? It's an auto include with putrid imp. You might want to consider unmask too.
Just some random thoughts from a player who saw comer-zilla from extended, to standard reanimator in odyssey, then to extended, then to current legacy.

Hey guys. I've been fiddling around with the concept of reanimating some of the targets from Eldrazi, and have tried to generate a reanimator type deck with Legendary creatures using Legacy rules. Here's what I have so far:
I was contemplating Polymorph and potentially taking out Akroma (for the other big Eldrazi) since it doesn't do much on a 1 turn clock. I only have one Entomb or I'd run 4 instead. This deck is focused around multiplayer games, and won't be played in 1on1. I'm also thinking of replacing Hymn to Tourach with something blue so I could pitch it to FoW. Daze isn't that effective in our meta, so maybe that's what I'd replace with Polymorph. Any help would be appreciated.
Then Pathrazer of Ulamog comes along. I just can't believe it. One swing with him on turn 2 and the game is over. Your opponent really to a point almost has no way of dealing with it.
The rest of the deck is this: (Keep in mind it is built just slightly to also be used in MP on the fly but mostly focuses on single)
Ok, then I've got a suggestion for your casual deck construction rules:2. No one's deck runs any answers to anything. Killing creatures, countering spells, destroying lands, redirecting abilities, forcing discards: all that stuff is totally not fun.
5. No one actually loses. Winning is fun, and we want everyone to have fun, so the first one to zero life points just wins, and so does everyone else. Then we can shuffle up and have more fun!
.
I had considered this, but I'd like to have some possibility of staying power. With Goryo's, I only get one turn with the Eldrazi and don't get either of their come into play abilities. If they can somehow manage to dodge the Eldrazi or survive it (not impossible in 2HG), I'll need something to persist on the board, which is why I have some of the standard reanimator suite in the deck. I'd really like to use polymorph (same cc has mannequin), but I have no other creatures to target to destroy other than the reanimation targets themselves.
hmm, good deck but the all time best in reanimate card is Wail of the Nim
Not to nitpick to much, but if you meant that you could use Wail of the Nim to bring back to life all creatures sent from your hand/deck to the graveyard you would be incorrect.:-/ Regenerate is not the same thing as reanimate and the associated competitive archtype.
Living Death fits reanimator, but a more casual type, usually a more multiplayer build. Unfortunatly, it's nearly useless in this deck since Emrakul, the Aeons Torn and the other Eldrazi never actually hit the graveyard to be exiled.
Regenerate is an ability that allows you to, well, regenerate your creatures which is a response to them being sent from the battlefield to the graveyard. You cannot regenerate a creature that's already in the graveyard/sent from your deck or hand to the grave/etc.
Again, not trying to nitpick. I did that when I first started before someone yelled at me for it.
If you meant actually reanimating Wail of the Nim there are, sadly, much better ways to kill everything (ex. Damnation).
In terms of the deck posted:
I might suggest going with 4x Duress over 4x Hymn to Tourach. It's both easier and cheaper to cast and it offers you the disruption you need (ie. getting rid of Force of Will).
Other then that you could try and pop in Lotus Petal, Dark Ritual and maybe Mox Diamond if you find that you can't go off fast enough. In fact, with the combo-ish nature of the deck I'd say that you could easily drop 3-4x lands (maybe more) for some of these spells, especially the Dark Ritual.
Not to nitpick to much, but if you meant that you could use Wail of the Nim to bring back to life all creatures sent from your hand/deck to the graveyard you would be incorrect. Regenerate is not the same thing as reanimate and the associated competitive archtype
yeah i know that much
Please tell me this was meant as a joke.
nooo, it wasnt living dead yeah i was saying it woul go well together, and if you an regenerate sacrificed creatures(dont think you can)it would go even better together
I suppose if it is all you can scrap to make a reanimator deck it'll work, It just seems like you are taking Route 66 to get to California when you can use I80 just fine.
I like some of these new creatures, but when you have to fight the triggered ability to reanimate them it just makes the deck more complicated and prone to failure due to inconsistency.
I can't wait until my next trip to the local shop to see someone's face at the Pathrazer on turn 1 myself
ok so the idea with this is that you need to get hellcarver out asap!! then attack i have dooms day to get the cards need to be flipped off with the hellcarver and those cards are emrakul, the aeons torn, beacon of destruction, and world at war ensuring me the win :))
Here's my multi-playerBU reanimator.
Its started back in around ice-age...with 2 animate dead, 4 dance of the dead, 3 soul exchange and 3 hell's caretakers. Then, I tweaked it in urza's block...and then we stopped playing. I've made a few changes recently, but it still feels "old school"-ish.
Note that the deck is somewhat focused on the "Sac this little thing to get this bigger thing" theme, which I know is card-disadvantageous (is that a real word?), but its fun and casual. That, and some of the choices are more for a slower multi-player game. The deck has about 12-16 multi-games under its belt (except for the recently aquired Victimizes).
Alright, here is my list. this deck is relatively new for me and I am going to be looking into getting some entombs soon. I know there really is no disruption in it at all maindeck but I got a few sideboard.
I felt inspired to make a deck to play around with. My group plays a lot of free-for-all or team games where it wouldn't be much fun to go all-out on one player. It looks like fun to steal cards out of the other players' hand/field/grave/deck. I'm sure everyone'll be throwing removal everywhere if I pull out something big, but hey, it happens.
The ideal opening would be Careful Study or Hapless Researcher turn 1 to discard a big guy, then rez him turn 2. If that fails, drop a Magus turn 2 and rez a guy turn 3.
I know that Frantic Search is restricted/banned in everything, but my buddies say that it's alright to play with it. They're just happy I'm not going the dark ritual->entomb->exhume->iona route.
I'm trying to be as cheap as possible on the first draft of this deck. If I can do well with a mediocre deck, there isn't much need to spend more money to make it better. If it proves too weak, I can make it more spiffy over time.
Edit: Come to think of it, those Dragon Auras from Scourge might work, with all the draw/discarding going on. Would be fun to rez a guy and give him haste/trample/flying for free.
Maybe you could include akroma? She's a good beater and blocker.
EDIT: Just thought I would give some insights from the time I was playing Standard Reanimator in Odyssey, since you guys are into multiplayer why not try the RB build? It's not blazing fast and no need to focus on counters/draw (at least this is my justification for those folks who are sick of UB reanimators, I would have suggested the GB and WB one I saw in the past but it would suck compared to B, UB or RB)
I love annihilation and permanent destruction

True, but Goryo's Vengeance is the main engine in the deck and can counteract the graveyard ability on the Eldrazi since it's an instant.
Over time I have slowly collected fatties to put in it.
To date these are what I run.

Reanimate and reanimator decks look, in most cases, to put cards like Iona, Shield of Emeira and Akroma, Angel of Wrath in your own graveyard by using cards like Entomb and Buried Alive and then bring them back to life via Exhume and Reanimate.
Living Death fits reanimator, but a more casual type, usually a more multiplayer build. Unfortunatly, it's nearly useless in this deck since Emrakul, the Aeons Torn and the other Eldrazi never actually hit the graveyard to be exiled.

4 Barren Moor
6 Mountain
11 Swamp
4 Bloodstained Mire
// 14 Creatures
1 Akroma, Angel of Wrath
2 Anger
1 Arcanis, the Omnipotent
4 Doomed Necromancer

4 Burning Wish
3 Buried Alive
4 Duress
2 Cabal Therapy
3 Sickening Dreams
1 Last Rites
2 Stitch Together
2 Zombify
This is a relatively cheap, considering the prices now.
Though, looking into more budget, my fetchlands could be swapped for Terramorphic Expanses.
Creature choices could be different now, since Iona, Shield of Emeria, Inkwell Leviathan, Sphinx of the Steel Wind, Blazing Archon and Terastodon friends are here. Though some of the existing ones I'm running there are already quite solid for casual multiplayer games.
Reanimation spells can of course be swapped to enchantments like animate dead/necromancy, to sorceries like reanimate/exhume.
The Wish board I leave for you guys to explore, or could replace the wishes with more Buried Alive effects and such.
Hope this list helps!
