If you CAN'T keep more than two Elves on field at any given point in time, then I'm completely confused on how people keep getting stomped by your deck when the only creature you can keep out is a 0/2 (the Devoted Druid).
I just meant after a board wipe I can recover faster. Most of the time that's the only way I lose, is if either a) I get land☺☺☺☺ed at the beginning and my Llanowars / Archdruids are getting terminated, or if there's a board wipe and I can't recover quick enough.
To be honest I keep the 2 of everything just to mix it up and get more variety. Door of Destinies and Rhys the Exiled are the main reason I destroy the saproling deck so hard, but I agree for the most part. I was thinking of taking out the Harbingers but I wasn't sure.
You're also very right about the Pipers. Replacing those + the Devoted Druids with Priest of Titanias.
Sylvan Messenger will probably be all you need to recover from a field wipe, honestly. It could land up to four more Elves in your hand, and help keep you from getting, as you said, "land- :):):):)d". Lol. I'd probably drop some non-Elf spells out of it to compensate, but still with the 28 you've got you'll get an average of two extra Elves in your hand- much needed gas, wouldn't you say?
Then again, you always have the tried and true method of holding threats back. lol.
Llanowar Elves is in the deck, alongside Priest of Titania and Elvish Archdruid. I can't see the point in running 16 mana producers. Hell, 12 might be too many but with mana sinks that can effectively use it who cares?
Ok, for this deck, without adding cards, only removing cards...
•24 lands in an elf deck is to much.
remove 3 Forest & 2 Swamp.
•I would remove the 2 Llanowar Augur. It's not a very tactical card, can only be used during your upkeep, allowing the opponent to anticipate it. Better to block with the wolf & elf tokens.
•I sort of like the Kithkin Mourncaller's ability, but from my experiences, the effect doesn't trigger as often as I would like it to. It does have a nice synergy with elf tokens, triggering the effect of Mourncaller when the tokens hit the graveyard. I'd still remove the mourncaller.
The above listed is 9 cards, bring your deck from 70 down to 61 as you asked.

I would cut the land count down to 18 actually. You want to make this deck as consistent as possible, so we can weed out the 1 drops and make the core consistent.
You may also want to try Coat of Arms, although if you're Local Meta is tribal, it's not that good.
Verdant Succession, I used to use Elvish Soultiller with it. Sidedeck Viridian Zealot for opponents that play a lot of annoying artifacts and enchantments, pop a zealot, bring another out. The deck was able to recycle all my elves with a soultiller in the library and one on the battlefield.
Had a G/R Biorhythm , turn 3 or more realistically, turn4, biorhythm then lightning bolt opponent for the win.
ok i threw together a deck with alot of common/uncommon elves i had laying around just to experiment and this deck is actually pretty decent tell me what you think
ok i do have 1 question.....sometimes when i post a deck i get ALOT OF REPLYS while other times i get next to none as you can see here....... if i get alot what does that mean? does that mean it lacks alot and needs alot added or when i don't get any does that mean that no one has any suggestions for it?......

Huh, that's almost exactly the same as mine. I found I wasn't getting the effect I wanted from Skullclamp with as many lords as I was running so I tried out Joraga Warcaller instead. It seems to be working for me. I also run Arbor Elf over Wirewood Symbiote because I find I don't tend to need that many untap effects and I wanted to make sure I hit a turn 2 lord as often as I could. Gaea's Cradle is great here too if you can get them.

My version runs 4 of Arbor, Llanowar, and Fyndhorn Elves, and it works out pretty well. I run mine based off of two strategies: mana production and draw. That's why I like Skullclamp (even though I don't have any, I use them as proxies when I can).
We prefer to use cards with either a Futuresight OR Mirrodin-Forward template. I want to add in more one-drops though... maybe Joraga Warcaller or Arbor Elf in place of some of either Herald or Timberwatch?
Hello there, you'll probably want to check the Casual Elf primer on these forums (although this post will likely get moved over there).
Anyways, I'd go with:
-2x Tooth and Nail
-2x Vines of Vastwood
+4x Priest of Titania
Tooth and Nail is just to expensive for this deck and, well, you're not fetching anything worthwhile with it (ex. Darksteel Colossus, Progenitus, etc.). Vines is a little lackluster in my opinion since casual boasts much better options for shroud. Overall, Priest of Titania will offer you mass acceleration which is exceptionally useful when combined with.... There's really nothing with a new cardface that will compare.
-4x Nature's Lore
+4x Skullclamp
God mode draw. Bottom line. It's broken. Use it. Abuse it. Love it.
-3x Heedless One
+1x Overrun
+2x Garruk Wildspeaker
Garruk offers you overrun on a stick, massive abuse with Wirewood Lodge and Priest of Titania and he can spawn tokens if you're desperate. Due to the pseudo-legendary status of Planeswalkers the Overrun is a nice little finisher to pack. The Heedless one just seems so uneccesary with the massive amount of pump elves you're including...
If you REALLY need shroud or some fun kitchen table removal/tricks/antics you could also check out:
Xx Lightning Greaves (I'd recommend it over Vines of Vastwood; perma shroud and haste for 0 equip cost)
Xx Whispersilk Cloak
Xx Umezawa's Jitte (Not budget friendly )
Xx Sword of Fire and Ice
Xx Sword of Light and Shadow
All of these cards offer fun little options for you to play with, especially the Greaves in conunction with Priest of Titania and the Jitte and Sword of Fire and Ice in conjunction with, well, any attacking creature really.
If you really want to go all out:
-3x Forest
+3x Gaea's Cradle
Mass amounts of mana produced for... Free? And you can tap it twice with Garruk? Totally broken in this type of deck.
I suppose I'm a Timmy. I'd rather play well into the mid-game and win against an opponent when we both have a dozen creatures on the board. Combos that win on turn 3 sorta put me off. But after reading an article regarding "turbo aggro", I thought it would be fun to see if I have the chops to play such a deck (and take it outside of standard). I stole a combo (Joraga Warcaller + Quest for the Gemblades) from one his decks and went tribal with it.
I will have to mulligan from time to time, but I'm surprised by how well this runs with only 14 basics and 3 CiPT lands. Of course, I haven't actually bought the cards, I've just been goldfish testing with a playtest function.
I'm not yet sold on my removal tools... more than half of which requires a body. I think it could use some improvement here.
Rancor is nice because it keeps coming back, but I'd rather have something that adds counters as the trample ability is often going to be redundant. Joraga Warcaller + Bramblewood Paragon gives it to everyone. Talara's Battalion had it installed at the dealer. Rancor can, however, turn Llanowar Elves and Quirion Rangers in threats a wee bit faster.
Vines of Vastwood has a similar problem. Great single turn boost, great protection, instant speed, but no synergies. Ditto for Giant Growth, which I've also considered.
I may not be doing myself any favors if I use Lignify early in the game. I used to have 2 or 3 copies of Twinblade Slasher to wither down walls. I *think* I'll be able to beat down Lignified critters without wither.
Elvish Harbinger can go as well. Same with the Packmaster.
That leaves 6 spots: 2 Coat of Arms, 2 more Imperious Perfect, 2 Elvish Promenade.
Beastmaster Ascension could be intriguing with all the attacks.

I had Devoted Druid / Quillspike, but I took it out because my friends almost stopped playing at that point.

Ok, no. But I do want to build an elf deck that might progress to elf-ball. It's going to be completely budget, and MAYBE T2. maybe.
I'm starting off a BUDGET base of:
4 Arbor elves
4 Essence warden
Nothing good, or fancy.
Thanks to Darth Monkey and SGT_Chubbz at Damnation Studios for the sig and banner.
I've posted it in my blog; I think it's less confusing than having multiple decks/conversations going, but if people prefer I'll repost it here.
