I've been playing with my friends for awhile, and I just recently built an elf deck. It has been playing well for me, but being pretty new still, I though I would try to get some advice on it.

edit: I'm thinking of adding a Nissa revane to it, that could be fun.
I'd advise against running Revane, I think you could do just fine without her.
Also, some changes I would suggest:
-3 Wellwishers ( you shouldn't need any lifegain, you should be focusing on winning instead of prolonging the game waiting for a *** or something of that sort.
-3 Hunting Triad (you'll have enough protection if you add Archcruid AND Imperious Perfect)
-2 Devoted Druid
-2 land (you should only need 16 forest MAX in an elf deck imo)
-1 Ambush Commander
elvish promenade is most exclusively a win more card, if you have a large number of elves, it wins you more, if you dont have any, well then your boned. talara's battalion is pretty awkward, shes a good beater, but i prefer vanquisher, since it doesnt require me to have to play another spell.
Drove of Elves would be an efficient beater to look into as well. Coming out on turn 4 she should be around a 5/5 or 4/4 with a one-sided shroud so no PTE's or Lightning Bolts.

Thus the reason for me saying "Cards to think about" lol. They're not quite staples, but do provide some purpose.
EDIT: I do agree with your reason behind Talara's Battalion, but it still a decent idea in certain decks. Just my opinion though

My multiplayer elf deck (hence the lifegain from Wellwishers). I played it last night and I managed to get the deck flowing and it obliterated the board... I ended the game gaining 100 life a turn while having at least 15 elves all as 30/30 tramplers. Seemed to work almost to well.
I have an elf deck and i was thinking of making it into a aggro elf deck but I do not want to spend a lot of money on a deck that just makes my elf deck worse. the deck i want is to the left the deck i have is to the right
-4x Wren's Run Vanquisher
Deathtouch is alright, but it seems so subpar compared to your other options.
-4x Nettle Sentinel
Subpar compared to Promenade/Priest of Titania.
-2x Alpha status
Coat of Arms provides mass pump for ALL of your elves and, as you're playing elves, it's unlikely that your opponent will get a big a bonus as you will from CoA (especially with Elvish Promenade).
-2 Tribal Forcemage
Could be personal preference here but I prefer overrun.
+4 Priest of Titania
Fat mana generation. Great in conjunction with Skullclamp and even Wirewood Lodge if you toss a few of those in.
I would view the top one, as much stronger. The second one lacks consistency, and a strong focus. For the first one, I would cut the Nettle Sentinel's and the Fyndhorn Elve's to add more focus to the deck. Treetop Village is useful as well. Coat of Arms is fun, especially in an elf deck.
-4x Wren's Run Vanquisher

I think I know where you are going with this thought, but sheesh---2 mana for a 3/3 with deathtouch is AWESOME.
Agro decks are often really susceptible to spells like Wrath of God and such. If there was any way to splash W and throw in a few Ghostways, that could really save your bacon against many threats.

My typical MP format is 5 total players, star-format. FFA, but you only need to eliminate your 2 non-adjacent opponents to win.
Harmonize could get you the CA you want. If you are going to a tournament (I wouldn't recommend it at this point) you should probably run Umezawa's Jitte. He can be very versatile, and throws alot of options at you. Also, why legacy? Isn't the deck extended legal? Or is there some other reason i'm missing out on.
Wirewood pride, treetop scout, timberwatch elf, and sylvan messenger are all banned in extended.
Sorry, missed that. But, I don't think you should take it to a tournament just yet. If FNM is what you mean, then it'd be good to play other decks at the store etc. But if you're talking about a PTQ or anything higher than a FNM then I suggest you play test the deck some more against friends, so that you can figure out if any changes need to be made.
What is the best way? Tendrils of agony on one guy, then hurricane the rest? any ideas?
AH! i cant beleive i forgot good old fireball! thank you very much
P.S. how come nobody told me elves are so much fun?

Some other cards to think about:
Elvish Promenade

Tribal Forcemage
Wren's Run Vanquisher
Talara's Battalion
The problem with elfdecks, is that there are so many ways to build one. Hope this posts helps any

Nettle Sentinel isn't very good unless you're using Heritage Druid to combo.
And if anything, you want Elvish Archdruid over Elvish Champion if you don't plan on running 10-12 "lords"
There are other things, but that's just what I see as I skim through it.

Great against mass removal cards (ex. Wrath of God).
4x Naturalize

I don't really think you need playset's of both Llanowar Elves and Fyndhorn elves. 1 should be enough acceleration.

Kokusho, The Evening Star, Exsanguinate and Glen Elendra Archmage have a restriction of 1 per deck.
Sylvan Library and Harmonize are likely the best you'll get if you stay mono-green. I suppose you could use Scroll Rack as well.
