I was thinking of building a golgori deck. I'm looking for suggestions for casual play. Please help me, I just got back into active play. My wife got me a two deck pack and I'm looking to rebuild some of my old decks. One of them was a golgori zombie deck.

For Golgari Zombies focus on powerful value creatures like Baloth Null, Cryptbreaker, Custodi Lich, Death Baron, Diregraf Colossus, Dreg Mangler, Fleshbag Marauder, Grave Defiler, Gravedigger, Graveyard Marshal, Josu Vess, Lich Knight, Liliana's Reaver, Lord of the Undead, Midnight Reaper, Plaguebearer, Rancid Rats, Relentless Dead

There are a lot of options for Golgari zombies. You'll get good value from zombies that draw you cards, return things from the dead, kill other things, make zombie tokens, or pump other zombies. Pick some that you like and are within your budget. Add a few kill spells and lands.

What does green add to zombies that makes you want to include it? I'm not suggesting that it's a bad idea, but I'm not sure of the synergy. I have a golgari zombie deck based around Birthing Pod and Killing Wave, but I'm sure there's other builds. Chord of Calling and Perilous Forays could both be build arounds. Zombies have 2/2 tokens, so populate might not be bad. Evolutionary Leap could be really good advantage as could foster. Greater Good is the most obvious card to me, but I don't know if zombies will be big enough to make it good. It needs 4 power creatures in general.
