Hey everyone! I'm back at it with a new wild multiplayer deck. I've been in love with both Seasons Past and Torment of Hailfire ever since they have been released. They've found plenty of homes in my EDH decks, but I've always wanted to build a fun, multiplayer deck with them. I played Seasons Past back in standard, and wanted to emulate something like that and incorporate Torment of Hailfire as the win condition.
In essence, the deck will hopefully play out like a control deck where I aim to cleave resources away from my opponents, meanwhile building up lots of lands so I can start firing off Hailfire after Hailfire until they have nothing left.
I did consider going Mono Black for this idea, but I like the ability of Seasons Past in Green alongside the ramp and other odd tools it brings to the table.
Explore works great in this deck since it lets you draw a card and play an extra land, which makes Golgari Rot Farm much more viable. Dark Petition tutors for Seasons Past to form the dreadful loop of Torment. Deadly Tempest keeps the board in check and is extremely strong against creature-heavy decks. I'm not running creatures so I don't care! Harmonize is a nice draw spell because I didn't want to use another black card like Read the Bones that would do the same but cost me life. I'm running for copies of Torment of Hailfire because it can also be used as a decent minigame removal spell if somebody is already low on cards in hand or life.
As of now, I have a pretty extensive list of cards that I'm also considering adding or swapping in every now and then.
I feel like the deck looks fairly strong and could survive in multiplayer. My only concern is the lack of lifegain I have available to persist into the late game.
As per norm, I ask all of you this: What do you think of the build? What cards am I missing that would work really well here? All comments and suggestions are appreciated! Thanks!
Seasons Past is my favorite deck that I own and it's one of my most powerful such to the point that my friends have all but outright banned me from playing it. Although this is mostly because our meta is midrange heavy and very few players play blue.
Essentially, what Xyx said is right on the money. The key to playing a strong Seasons Past deck is diversity in mana costs and answers. One thing that I cannot stress enough is that board clears are necessary as is a lot of mana ramp since Seasons Past chains are expensive. I also like to diversify my tutors so that I can het multiple ones back to look for more key singletons.
I agree with everyone above that you want more ramp. The deck is very mana hungry. Temple of the False Gods is not how you want to get there. Explore cuteness with karoos is not enough.
4 Sakura-Tribe Elder. It does all the Rampant Growthing you need, but it also blocks. That's relevant in multiplayer. If you have 0 blockers, people will attack you, especially if you're the guy who keeps wiping the board. STE makes it just annoying enough that they'll attack someone else instead (attacking you is a wasted attack step). Solemn Simulacrum's not bad too, for similar reasons.

As for the control spells, the name of the game is diverse answers of diverse mana costs. You don't just need to kill generic creatures. Pernicious Deed is an auto-include. There are other great suggestions above. Depending on your meta, also consider some of these: Crux of Fate (budget Damnation), Maelstrom Pulse, Decree of Pain, Ashes to Ashes, Toxic Deluge, Krosan Grip, Fracturing Gust, Hero's Downfall, Vraska's Contempt.
