This was before the Mirrodin shift to Race/Class system from the multiple type standard of yore. There weren't many synergies between Clerics back when this guy was printed.
Off topic- Im actually kind of surprised that Vile Deacon wasn't reprinted in the Innistrad block

The 7/24/20 random card of the day is Rocket Launcher. If you have any comments, combos or a decklist involving this card, feel free to share.
When combined with an infinite mana combo, it's an easy way to kill one or more players. But Goblin Cannon is better because you don't have to wait a turn.

"is better" ONLY MECHANICALLY. Getting fragged by a Rocket Launcher is more entertaining than saying "I use 40 mana to kill you with Goblin Cannon."
BTW- i haven't updated my signature count in a long time, so my collection may be off by atleast a dozen.

even the Storage Lands from Fallen Empires were better. in what scenario would someone load it up with charges... unless Giant Fan was a thing...

I find it funny that in erratta to make Licid's less confusing, the wording "Loses this ability" and "[Pay]: End this effect" are still technically in the same line- so one could argue that, as an enchantment- the Licid loses the ability to detach.
That said, I'd love to see Licids return, especially since the Flip mechanics of the Kamigawa block exit to make them less confusing.
Thresher Licid1RG
Creature- Licid RG, T: Flip ~ and attach it to target creature.
2/2
// Thresher Symbiosis
Enchantment- Aura
Enchant Creature
Enchanted creature gets +2/+0 and gains Menacing. (R/G): Detach and Flip ~.

I like Intimidate moreso than Fear. Fear is obviously black-centric ability; intimidate brings that "neener-neener" aspect to other colors.

Torment was a set that loved Black and this is a card that's built to prey on it, so it's a pretty solid limited common, but it can't do anything in constructed formats
it would have been funny if something like Quagmire was released in a set that was so black-heavy. but of course, Landwalk abilities are often neglected.
Though, this creature seems kind of mismatched... swampwalk suggests a more aggressive creature; while the ability suggests a more control aspect. without vigilance or something like Awakening to make use of both aspects.

2x Gosta Dirk to block Stormtide Leviathan.
Through a Helm of The Host or Mirror Gallery effect.
No need for that. One Costa makes all creatures able to block it (barring other limitations).
