The 5/22/19 random card of the day is Gutter Skulk. If you have any comments, combos or a decklist involving this card, feel free to share.
Sorry if you are tired of seeing bad cards. The reason why I don't exclude bad cards from my search is because this is the Casual forum. I feel that it is the duty of each casual player to look for ways to make bad cards work.
It used to be, that a 2/2 for 1B at common without a drawback was a no-no for black. To my knowledge Gutter Skulk was the second black bear for that cost ever, the first being Walking Corpse in Innistrad. The closest before that was probably Wicked Akuba, but double black on a 2-drop can also be considered a drawback.
This original Ravnica aura cycle was, I think, the first attempt to make auras more playable. Galvanic Arc was a very good pick in Ravnica Limited, though still only the second best of the cycle, the best being Faith's Fetters, in my opinion. Fists of Ironwood and Flight of Fancy were decent, too, with Strands of Undeath placing last on my list.
One of the most hideous cards if wanna play casual. If I have to think of a list of cards where "no fun allowed" Winter Orb is definitely a classic that sill make top of the list among stuff like Armageddon and Stasis
4GG for two cards in green isn't a bad deal; sure- it's not a Harmonize. But you can't Greater Good Harmonize

You just need a way to regenerate those Crypt Rats or give them indestructible.
If you have an Amulet of Vigor in play, then it's better than Wooded Foothills.
