Cycling Lands are always a nice addition to any deck. late game, just cycle them. early game, drop them on turns you don't need that extra mana. Trade Routes or Moonfolk + Astral Slide et al, could be an interesting build...

SELVAXRI! King of Misfortune & Master of Rocket Launchers "Do ya feel lucky? Because you'd better start runnin' while you still can." 375 Misfortune {+3 signed AP's} & 104 Rocket Launcher (41 AQ/ 63 Rev) Edgar Rice Burroughs, forgotten legend of the word.
The 12/09/19 random card of the day is Barren Moor. If you have any comments, combos or a decklist involving this card, feel free to share.
Cycling lands also have nice synergy with bounce lands like Rakdos Carnarium. Early played cycling lands can be tapped for mana, bounced, and then cycled with the mana they produced.
Oh look, more redundant wording... why not just "5U: Put two +1/+1 counter on ~. Play this ability only if there are no +1/+1 counters on it." ? i understand it's a Simic schtick but giving keywords to activated abilities is pretty moot.

Definitely one of the more efficient Mana-Engines, behind Sol Ring and Mind Stone...
I ran a couple of these in my ol'skool Anthroplasm deck

I traded a Teferi, Hero of Dominaria for one from someone who worked at WotC. Honest. Also got a Naughty/Nice from the same guy, for a second Teferi as well.

Or spare yourself the overly complicated way of dealing damage and just pump that mana into the Titan's firebreathing ability. Same result, less cards involved, less information revealed.
But yes, splice onto arcane is pretty much the only thing the card has going for it. On its own it simply can't compete against comparable cards like Crimson Wisps, Fervent Strike, Maximize Velocity, Samut's Sprint, etc. Splicing has very limited options, but due to being a very cheap carrier spell, Unnatural Speed can essentially function as more copies of cards like Through the Breach and Reweave. Still not worth the effort, in my opinion, as there are other/better carrier spells for that, too.
The 12/27/19 random card of the day is Tetsuko Umezawa, Fugitive. If you have any comments, combos or a decklist involving this card, feel free to share.
This is one of my favorite cards that came out in the last couple years. There are so many combos and synergies that go with her. My favorite is to combine her with Ashnod's Battle Gear and Yargle, Glutton of Urborg.
or just run him in a Flowstone deck. "All my creatures have 1 toughness, can't be blocked... bwahaha"
