One of my first combos ever used this card:
Orochi Leafcaller + Sachi, Daughter of seshiro + Pemmin's Aura/Freed from the Real

Nets you "infinite" mana in any combination of U and G

Interestingly enough, that combo is all within old Kamigawa block. And it doesn't even include any rares.

this guy could be interesting with Haze of Rage... but the cost to keep up a decent Storm effect wouldn't make it effective late game.

ideally, drop this guy turn 2, then on turn 3 just ping to heck and back with Shock, Lightning Bolt, etc.

Repeatable ping seems good with Sigil of Sleep but Gelectrode is probably a better option

If this was legendary, it might be playable but not at this mana cost.
If printed in 2022, it would have a mana value of 4, and probably have an activated ability in white or another color.

good with Ghost Town and/or Thawing Glaciers. you could go Trade Routes, as well- for anything Landfall.

Since it's not a "may" you could be mean with something like Phyrexian Tyranny and/or Underworld Dreams
