Heh heh...a contender for worst art in the game lol.
I did have a deck with this in it, back around Ice Age...it was my black red suicide deck. It eventually got replaced by the skittering skirge, if you look in my sig, that's pretty much the deck she was in, it hasn't changed too much in 10 years.
Not a great card. Not bad, casually tho, against decks of the same era lol. Was good with an unholy strength strapped to her T3. Even better with a Blood Lust on top of that. But, then again, that applies to all aggro creatures *shrug*.
The 9/09/13 random card of the day is Nebuchadnezzar. If you know of a combo or decklist involving this card, feel free to share it.
Gorgeous art (as usual for RKF), and he seemed impressive back in the good old days of janky creature selection.
He might work well with lots of ramp so you can use his ability early and often. Run primarily green to get that ramp, using Birds of Paradise, Elves of Deep Shadow and Urborg Elf (among others). Cast him on turn three. On your fourth turn, Gitaxian Probe to get a look at opponent's hand, then name the biggest threat and tap out to ensure you force the discard. Follow up with Animate Dead to snag creatures discarded this way.
The 9/13/13 random card of the day is Island Fish Jasconius. If you know of a combo or decklist involving this card, feel free to share it.
This is a perfect example of how much the game has changed. Back when I started playing when Revised was out, this was one of the most feared creatures. Now it's seen as one of the worst cards in MTG.
The 9/18/13 random card of the day is Muscle Sliver. If you know of a combo or decklist involving this card, feel free to share it.
It's pretty much an auto-include in any sliver deck. It's probably the second most popular sliver after Crystalline Sliver.
I wholeheartedly agree, unfortunately... (f-ing bastards that they are).
*insert long anti-Sliver rant here*
With that rant out of the way, I admit that Muscle Slivers work well with Kird Apes in an old school R/G aggro.
Oh...by the way... good thread RabidVacin!
I don't post much (obviously), but I always check on the "card of the day."

(about the English language) It's kinda like a raft that was cobbled together from parts of three different boats and since then has been kept barely afloat with crude repairs every time a leak appeared.
Let's see, use it with Grand Arbiter Augustin IV to net one land, use with any mana doubler to net 2 free land, so much abuse to be had, especially in EDH.

Old school group, sometimes more beer than cards. Revised thru Tempest block (and a little of Urza), sorry if I don't know all the new cards

I remember back when Weatherlight was a new set, I played against a deck that basically tried to cast Abeyance every turn.
