Has been kicked off its throne by Rona, Herald of Invasion, Jace, Vryn's Prodigy and Suspicious Stowaway.

Excluding Legendary creatures, Thought Courier is a reprint; and i think the worst variant is Research Assistant with an activation cost of 3U.

Looter really exposed me back in the day of UG Madness. I read an article on Brainburst or whatever that told me why I needed to activate it every turn, so I did that, I just didn't know what mattered to keep or discard. Though it lives on in direct and indirect references, most recently Likeness Looter, it's Fable of the Mirror-Breaker that is still exposing me to this day.

This was the original art for Tropical Island but the bird was so prominent, they created a new card birds of paradise. For some reason, I thought it was for volcanic island due to the smoke in the background.

This was the one of the first sets to have a tribal subtheme with Goblin Caves, Goblin Wizard, Orc General and one of the first creature hate in Tivadar's Crusade.

I'm a bigger fan of Plague Spitter, the exploding potato, but Gangrenous Zombies isn't bad for a creature from Ice Age. A small boardwipe on a creature isn't really a commonly printed thing. WOTC would put a sorcery restriction on this ability today, because they hate fun
