Good card is good. The 6/14/18 random card of the day is Student of Ojutai. If you have any comments, combos or a decklist involving this card, feel free to share.
The 6/15/18 random card of the day is Pacifism. If you have any comments, combos or a decklist involving this card, feel free to share.
Really iconic white removal, and still very useful today. Sure there is lots of better white spot removal out there nowadays, but this card still gets the job done nicely. I'm still wondering, why they made a worse version of it (Luminous Bonds).
My personal favorite printing is the Onslaught one: Pacifism.

It's funny. The first time I saw this card, I thought it straight up sucked. At the time I played, IIRC, a URB direct damage deck that made use of cards like Royal Assassin, Tim, and Grapeshot Catapult to chip away at my opponent.
Now I look at this card and think very differently about it.
I think the play value of this card has gone up considerably over the years because the value of creatures have gone up considerably. I put some massive big butt creatures on the field only to lose the game because of this card or its cousins.
This card used to be a lot weaker when printed (although still a Standard Tier 1 deck finisher), because Vampires were midrange.
Nowadays there are so many things that make 1/1 Vampire tokens, including a Commander that makes them from the Command Zone, that your vampire count can get very high! Even turn 4 Call to the Feast into turn 5 Bloodwitch is already an Exsanguinate for 4 tacked onto a 4/4 flying body with protection.
The 6/19/18 random card of the day is Pang Tong, "Young Phoenix". If you have any comments, combos or a decklist involving this card, feel free to share.
One of my favorite casual combos is tapping Pang Tong to give +0/+2 to Squire, transforming the meager Squire into a mighty Horned Turtle!! Imagine the huge tempo swing of attacking with a 2-mana Horned Turtle!
He, along with Kavu Aggressor, were some Kavus i didn't even consider when i build my own Kavu deck. It's Domain bonus is moot, as why would you want a 5/2 for 3 in a rainbow deck, when you could be running other better creatures?

I have this card in an EDH deck along with cards like Hedron Matrix and Baneful Omen that like high CMC cards.
