An explanation for some of my card choices:
*Pristine Talisman helps keep up with the requirements of using Purgatory; it generates colorless mana and gains me life. These two fit together like puzzle pieces.
*Viscera Seer lets me stack my deck and sacrifice creatures to get them under Purgatory.
*Captain of the Watch and Knight-Captain of Eos work nicely together. With Viscera Seer and Purgatory I can perma-fog or make an army of 2/2's that only get larger as the game progresses. I can also sac a flock of tokens to Viscera Seer to go digging through my deck for something that I need.
*Shriekmaw is a great card. I can evoke him if I need to, or hardcast him with Purgatory out to set up a turret with Viscera Seer. A threat if left unchecked, plus some tasty card advantage against the right decks.
*High Market is an alternative sac outlet to Viscera Seer that gains me life to help keep up with Purgatory's requirements.
The deck needs 14 more cards. I don't know which of the maybes are worth keeping or if there are better options that I have yet to discover. Any advice is appreciated.
