it's pretty good.
the sun and moon and web of inertia stop my opponent from attacking, one of the requirements for the horn. I also put quite allot of tokens into play on my opponents side, to ramp up the damage.
I have guard duty in case i can get my lock set up right away, it works well.
I have the artifact lands in there to search with my enlightened tutor.
im kind of iffy on mercy killing and genesis chamber, the chamber helps only marginally. i've never gotten to use mercy killing, but it just doesn't seem worth it.
PLEASE! comments, suggestions, insults, ANY input would be great.
that is a very interesting combo... but one for a different time..
my combo engine is practically perfect, I just need to find cards that support it better.
but I like that arbiter thing you got going on. maybe for a different time.
In my old Angel's Trumpet deck I used Moat to shut down attackers. If you don't have that you can also use the creature version Magus of the moat. I also used Serra Angel to attack with in case they didn't play any creatures. I like the idea of using the hunted creatures but I don't think they were out back when I made my deck.
One year ago I was building a deck really similar to this one. I've tried it and I can tell my short expirience:
My deck is based on tumpet of angels and reins of power. Then, i have more finishers. To avoid creatures attack I use juest two cards: rest in peace and web of innertia. And to gain lifes and survive congregate.
Also, I have no creature, they are not necessary and in certain situations thay can make you recive damage of trumpet of angels.
I made a kind of control deck. I prefer to protect my combo, insted of having alternatives cards. I use generous gift, swan song and mercy killing. With this cards, you protect yourself giving creatures to the other player (which in this deck is an advantatge).
With these control cards and forbbiden orchard I think it's not necessary to have genesis chamber.
